PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
2014 PIERCE TOWNHOMES
REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT PLAN
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will meet and hold a public hearing on December 14, 2021, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183 for the purpose of hearing testimony for:
2014 Pierce Townhomes
Redevelopment Project Plan
Applicant: Megumi II, LLC
Location: 2014 and 2016 Pierce Street
The redevelopment project plan proposes the new construction of a townhome style structure with nine market rate residential rental units.
The Planning Board recommended approval of this Redevelopment Project Plan at the October 6, 2021 public hearing.
The Redevelopment Project Plan authorizes the City’s participation in the redevelopment of this project site through the allocation of TIF in an amount up to $304,522.00, plus accrued interest. TIF loan proceeds will be used to offset eligible expenses such as acquisition, site preparation, demolition, architectural and engineering costs, and other public improvements as required. The total estimated project costs are $2,537,680.00, but are subject to change as final costs come in.
A copy of said plan is available for public inspection in the City Clerk’s Office.
