Berry Law Welcomes Attorney Mallory Hughes

Published by Scott Stewart on Tue, 07/20/2021 - 12:00am

Berry Law welcomes Attorney Mallory Hughes to its criminal defense team. Hughes defends major felony cases—both federal and state—as well as domestic violence cases and Title IX college investigations. Hughes has a significant emphasis defending against allegations of sexual assault.

Hughes has more than 20 not guilty verdicts and case dismissals, and a Nebraska Supreme Court win. She has a strong reputation with prosecutors and judges for being aggressive and leaving no stone unturned when it comes to defending her clients.

Hughes has an AV Rating through Martindale Hubbell and has received several legal awards, including the National Trial Lawyers Criminal Defense Top 40 Under 40 recognition four years running. The American Institute of Criminal Law Attorneys named her one of the 10 Best Attorneys for the state of Nebraska and she is a designated SuperLawyer by Thomson Reuters.

“Strive for excellence, and you will achieve success. It doesn’t work the other way around,” Hughes said.

Hughes is available for consultation in state and federal criminal cases and speaking engagements regarding constitutional rights and criminal defense. Hughes works out of the Berry Law Omaha office at 1414 Harney Street Suite 400.

“Mallory is a results-driven criminal defense attorney,” COO Chad Collins said. “We look forward to her relentless drive to defend the Constitution and fight for our clients.”
