Becky Barrientos-Patlan did not respond to The Daily Record’s request to complete a questionnaire.

She is the founder of the Burlington Road Neighborhood Association.

Barrientos-Patlan told the Voter Information Project her priorities include law enforcement and quality of life in South Omaha. She said she spoke at a Back the Blue rally and would never defund the police.

Asked about systemic racism, she told the Voter Information Project, “We need not issue any more special individual rights, to anyone. Everything we need for human rights and equality, is secured in our United States Constitution.”

She told The Omaha World-Herald that she would vote to end the mask mandate. In a World-Herald profile, Barrientos-Patlan described herself as the “Pro-God, Pro-Family, Pro-Veteran, Pro-Life, Pro-Active Transparent, Councilwoman!”

“I will work to ensure that the people will have a Strong Voice when it comes to voting for policy to help keep the tax burden off the hard working people of South Omaha/District 4,” she wrote on Facebook.
