The Anti-Defamation League and National Constitution Center will hold their 20th annual Supreme Court Review on July 9.

The in-depth conversation will be shown at the Jewish Community Center, 333 S. 132nd St. in Omaha, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The town hall program will be held live at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia.

A livestream will also be available at adl.org/supreme-court-review. Attorneys can register for an expected two free CLE credits for Nebraska and several other states. To apply, visit tinyurl.com/y472ly33.

Featured speakers include Erwin Chemerinsky, dean of Berkeley Law; Paul Clement, partner at the Washington, D.C., office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP and former U.S. solicitor general; Dahila Lithwick, senior editor at Slate who covers the Supreme Court; and Frederick M. Lawrence, secretary and CEO of Phi Beta Kappa and a visiting professor at the Georgetown Law Center.

The tentative agenda for the review includes a discussion of the term and new court makeup, the court’s view of emergency powers, immigration refugee rights, religious freedom, criminal justice and the death penalty, voting rights, LGBT rights and women’s rights, as well as cases to watch for in the next term and the state of the judiciary.

Cases slated for discussion include Nielsen v. Preap, Department of Commerce et al. V. New York et al., American Legion v. American Humanist Association, Flowers v. Mississippi, Madison v. Washington, Dunn v. Ray, Murphy v. Collier, Rucho v. Common Cause, Lamone v. Benisek, Karnoski v. Trump and June Medical Services v. Gee.
