PUBLIC HEARING NOTICES

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will hold public hearings on September 15, 2026, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183, for the purpose of hearing testimony for:

An ordinance authorizing and approving an amendment to that certain Master Lease-Purchase Agreement dated as of February I, 2024, with the additions of Schedules I, II and III thereto between the City of Omaha Public Facilities Corporation and the City of Omaha, Nebraska, to provide funds for the lease-purchase of and the financing of a portion of the costs of acquiring, constructing and equipping a modern streetcar system, including the lease-purchase of streetcars, an operations and maintenance building, streetcar track and all related public improvements; authorizing an amendment, if necessary to that certain Site Lease Agreement dated as of February 1, 2024 between the Corporation and the City for the ground leasing of the project site by the City to the Corporation; authorizing and approving, if necessary, one or more Bills of Sale by the City to the Corporation for the sale of certain equipment to the Corporation; approving a Fifth Supplemental Indenture to that certain Master Indenture of Trust dated as of February 1, 2024 between the Corporation and BOKF, National Association, pursuant to which the Corporation will issue multiple series of lease revenue bonds to finance the project; approving the terms and conditions of one or more series of the Corporation’s Lease Revenue Bonds, Series 2026F (or such other designation or designations as may be determined by the City Finance Director) in an aggregate principal amount of not to exceed $125,000,000.00, as set forth in the Indenture and the issuance and delivery thereof; delegating authority to the City Finance Director to determine for each series of Bonds authorized under such Ordinance, the final form of the amendments to the Agreement, the amendment, if necessary, to the Site Lease, any Bills of Sale and the Indenture, the final price, interest rates, principal amount, redemption provisions, the tax-exempt or taxable status, and other terms and conditions thereof; and satisfying applicable federal income tax law requirements for any series of bonds issued as tax-exempt obligations (Streetcar Projects).

An ordinance authorizing and approving a Lease Purchase Agreement between the City of Omaha Public Facilities Corporation and the City of Omaha, Nebraska, to provide funds for the lease-purchase of and financing of a portion of the costs of (i) constructing and equipping a parking garage at the Crossroads Redevelopment Site located within the City, and (ii) constructing and equipping a parking garage at the Mutual Tower Redevelopment Site located within the City; authorizing one or more Site Lease Agreements or Amended and Restated Site Lease Agreements, as the case may be, between the Corporation and the City for the ground leasing of the particular project sites by the City to the Corporation; approving one or more Indentures of Trust between the Corporation and BOKF, National Association, as Trustee and Paying Agent; approving the terms and conditions of one or more series of the Corporation’s Lease Revenue Bonds, Series 2026E (or such other designation or designations as may be determined by the City Finance Director) in the aggregate principal amount of not to exceed $110,000,000.00, as set forth in the Indentures and the issuance and delivery thereof; delegating authority to the City Finance Director to determine for each series of Bonds authorized under such Ordinance, the final form of the Agreement, the Site Leases, and the Indentures, the final price, interest rates, principal amounts, redemption provisions, the tax-exempt or taxable status, and other terms and conditions thereof; and satisfying applicable federal income tax law requirements for any series of bonds issued as tax-exempt obligations (Parking Garages).

NOTICE TO PUBLIC

The City Council of the City of Omaha will have a Pre-Council Meeting at 10:30 A.M. in the Jesse Lowe Conference Room, Omaha/Douglas Civic Center, 1819 Farnam Street, for the purpose of discussing the agenda items and briefing and discussion of public business; and a regular Council Meeting at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, in the Legislative Chambers of the Omaha/Douglas Civic Center in Omaha, Nebraska.This meeting will have video conference capability. Proposed agenda kept continually current shall be available for public inspection in the Omaha/Douglas Civic Center at the Office of the City Clerk, but the Council shall have the right to modify the agenda to include items of an emergency nature only at such public meeting when convened. The video conference details and an agenda for the meeting is posted on the City of Omaha website at www.cityofomaha.org.
