PUBLIC HEARING NOTICES
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will hold public hearings on July 14, 2026, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183, for the purpose of hearing testimony for:
An ordinance to rezone property located southeast of 33rd and Webster Streets from GC-General Commercial District to R7-Medium-Density Multiple-Family Residential District.
Res. that, the Preliminary Plat entitled Webster Corner, a minor plat inside city limits, along with approval of a waiver to Section 53-8(4)(a), Lot Depth, located southeast of 33rd and Webster Streets, along with the conditions, is hereby accepted; and, the preparation of the final plat of this subdivision is hereby authorized.
Res. that, the Final Plat transmitted herewith entitled of Webster Corner, a minor plat inside city limits, located southeast of 33rd and Webster Streets, is hereby approved, and concurrently a portion of the existing plat entitled Park Place, and described on said replat, is hereby vacated.
An ordinance to rezone property located southeast of 204th and Ida Streets from AG-Agricultural District to DR-Development Reserve District.
An ordinance to rezone property located southeast of 204th and Ida Streets from AG-Agricultural District to R4-Single-Family Residential District (High-Density).
Res. that, the Final Plat entitled Indian Ridge (Lots 1-207, Outlots A-D), a subdivision outside city limits, located southeast of 204th and Ida Streets, is hereby approved and accepted.
Res. that, the Subdivision Agreement among the City of Omaha, Charleston Homes, LLC, The Indian Ridge Home Owners Association, and Sanitary and Improvement District (S.&I.D.) 640 of Douglas County, Nebraska, as recommended by the Mayor, is hereby approved. The Subdivision is to be known as Indian Ridge (Lots 1-207 and Outlots A-D) and is located southeast of 204th and Ida Streets.
An ordinance to rezone property southwest of 186th and Ida Streets from AG-Agricultural District to R4-Single-Family Residential District (High-Density).
Res. that, the Final Plat entitled Ida Grove, a subdivision outside city limits, located southwest of 186th and Ida Streets, is hereby approved and accepted.
Res. that, the Subdivision Agreement among the City of Omaha, MDC Ida Grove, LLC, The Ida Grove Home Owners Association, and Sanitary and Improvement District (S.&I.D.) 646 of Douglas County, Nebraska, as recommended by the Mayor, is hereby approved. The Subdivision is to be known as Ida Grove (Lots 1-183 and Outlots A-G) and is located southwest of 186th and Ida Streets.
An ordinance to rezone property at 5623 Grant Street from R4(35)-Single-Family Residential District (High-Density) to R5(35)-Urban Family Residential District.
Res. that, the Special Use Permit application submitted by Emmanuel Fellowship for a Special Use Permit to allow a Daycare services (general) in the R5 District, located at 8345 Crown Point Avenue, is hereby approved and the Permits and Inspection Division is directed to issue the necessary permit therefor, provided the conditions set out in Exhibit “A” of the referenced application, conditions set out in Exhibit “B”, and all applicable local or state statutes, ordinances or regulations are complied with. The proposed Special Use Permit has been reviewed and evaluated pursuant to, and meets each of, the criteria set forth in Section 55-885 of the Omaha Municipal Code.
