AN ORDINANCE declaring the necessity of acquiring, for use by the City of Omaha, the necessary private property for the purpose of constructing 33rd and Hamilton Street Intersection Improvements; project identified as Federal Aid Project Number HSIP-28 (139), State Control No. 22848, City Project OPW 54100; providing that the City negotiate with the property owners for land acquisitions, permanent easements and temporary construction easements; providing that as to each specified parcel which cannot be obtained by negotiation, condemnation proceedings be undertaken and completed; and, providing for the effective date hereof.

AN ORDINANCE to approve a Contract between the City of Omaha, a Municipal Corporation, and Board of Regents of the University of Nebraska, a public body corporate of the State of Nebraska for Medical Director Services for the Emergency Medical Care Services Program of the Omaha Fire Department involving the payment of money from appropriations of more than one year in accordance with Sections 5.16 and 5.17 of the Omaha Home Rule Charter of the City of Omaha, 1956, as amended; to provide payment to the Board of Regents in the total amount of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) per year for a three-year term commencing on January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2027; funds for this Contract will be paid from the Omaha Fire Department Fund 11111, Organization 114582, Professional Fees; and to provide an effective date hereof.

The Omaha Streetcar Authority will have a Meeting at 1:30 P.M. on Monday, February 10, 2025, in the Legislative Chambers of the Omaha/Douglas Civic Center, 1819 Farnam Street in Omaha, Nebraska, for the purpose of discussing the agenda items and briefing and discussion of public business. Proposed agenda kept continually current shall be available for public inspection in the Omaha/Douglas Civic Center at the Office of the City Clerk, but the Authority shall have the right to modify the agenda to include items of an emergency nature only at such public meeting when convened. The agenda for the meeting is posted on the City of Omaha website at https://www.cityofomaha.org/omaha-streetcar.

An ordinance declaring the necessity of acquiring, for use of the City of Omaha, the necessary lands located southwest of 182nd and Fort Streets for the future construction of Fire Station 70; providing for approval of a Purchase Agreement between the Papio-Missouri River Natural Resources District and the City of Omaha for the purchase of a vacant lot that is 95,733 square feet located southwest of 182nd and Fort Streets for the amount of $382,932.00 to be paid from Advance Acquisition Fund No. 13111, Organization 114512 (Fire Capital).
