NOTICE TO PUBLIC
The City Council of the City of Omaha will have a Pre-Council Meeting at 10:30 A.M. in the Jesse Lowe Conference Room, Omaha/Douglas Civic Center, 1819 Farnam Street, for the purpose of discussing the agenda items and briefing and discussion of public business; and a regular Council Meeting at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, in the Legislative Chambers of the Omaha/Douglas Civic Center in Omaha, Nebraska. This meeting will have video conference capability. Proposed agenda kept continually current shall be available for public inspection in the Omaha/Douglas Civic Center at the Office of the City Clerk, but the Council shall have the right to modify the agenda to include items of an emergency nature only at such public meeting when convened. The video conference details and an agenda for the meeting is posted on the City of Omaha website at www.cityofomaha.org.

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICES
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will hold public hearings on March 5, 2024, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183, for the purpose of hearing testimony for:
An ordinance approving a Professional Services Agreement with Wade Trim, Inc. to provide professional design phase services on OPW 54630, being the Northeast Omaha High Rate Treatment Basin and Associated Projects; to provide for payments from appropriations of more than one year in accordance with Section 5.17 of the Home Rule Charter of 1956, as amended; to provide for payments from a specific account.
An ordinance to approve a Major Amendment to a Mixed Use District Development Agreement for West Dodge Station, for the property located at 18301 Cuming Street, to allow Automotive Sales use on Lot 2, Replat 9, within the Subject Area of the Mixed Use district.
An ordinance to approve a Contract between the City of Omaha and CorVel Enterprise Comp., Inc., involving the payment of money from appropriations of more than one (1) year in accordance with Section 5.17 of the Home Rule Charter of the City of Omaha, 1956, as amended; to provide workers’ compensation third-party coordinated administration, managed care, claims management, case management, and risk management information system services for the City’s self-funded workers’ compensation program for a period of three (3) years from January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2026, with two one (1) year options at the City’s sole discretion; such payments to be from Fund No. 11111, Organization No. 118017.
An ordinance approving an Interlocal Agreement between the City of Omaha, Sarpy County Sheriff’s Office, City of Bellevue, Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, City of Council Bluffs, Iowa and the U.S. Treasury, for more than one year, to provide for grant administration of the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (“HIDTA”) grant which is to be used for cooperative law enforcement efforts with the participating agencies to combat drug crimes in the greater Metropolitan area.
An ordinance to amend Chapter 19, Article XII of the Omaha Municipal Code, entitled “Cable Television Systems” to match existing agreements and laws.
An ordinance to renew the cable television franchise now held by Cox Communications Omaha, LLC; to provide that such franchise shall be renewed for ten (10) additional years; to provide that such franchise shall be subject to compliance with law, Municipal Code, and performance of the provisions of the franchise agreement; to approve the franchise agreement authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to execute and attest accordingly the filed agreement.
