NOTICE TO PUBLIC

The Omaha Streetcar Authority will have a Meeting at 1:30 P.M. on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, in the Legislative Chambers of the Omaha/Douglas Civic Center, 1819 Farnam Street in Omaha, Nebraska, for the purpose of discussing the agenda items and briefing and discussion of public business. This meeting will have video conference capability. Proposed agenda kept continually current shall be available for public inspection in the Omaha/Douglas Civic Center at the Office of the City Clerk, but the Authority shall have the right to modify the agenda to include items of an emergency nature only at such public meeting when convened. The video conference details and an agenda for the meeting is posted on the City of Omaha website at https://www.cityofomaha.org/omaha-streetcar.

The Board of Directors of the Regional Metropolitan Transit Authority of Omaha will hold a regularly scheduled Board meeting on Thursday, February 22, 2024, at 8:30 a.m., at the offices of the Transit Authority, 2222 Cuming Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68102.

The Agenda items are Approval of Minutes of Previous Meeting – Regular Meeting – January 25, 2024; General Public Comment Period; Administrative Report – L. Cencic; Administrative Reports – Administration/Human Resources – J. Hall, Programs/Operation – I. Maldonado, and Communications – N. Ebat; Resolution 2024-02: Resolution To Amend Hourly Employees’ Pension Plan - W. Clingman; Resolution 2024-03: Resolution to Amend Operating Policy 3 Disadvantage Business Enterprise – A. Johnson; Board Chair Report - D. Lawse - Executive Session - Announcement of date and time for the next Board Meeting - Adjournment.

Reports will be heard from the Board Committees and staff.

The Metro Board Meeting will be held simultaneously in person and online using Zoom. The public is invited to attend. In consideration of everyone’s time and in respect of those presenting, any online connection that is deemed to be causing a disruption may be removed from the meeting.
