PUBLIC NOTICE

MAPA is issuing a call for projects for four regional programs with funding from the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA).  Projects selected will be part of the FY2025 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) funding cycle.

Regional funding programs include the Surface Transportation Block Grant Program (STBG), Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP), Carbon Reduction Program (CRP), and the Heartland 2050 Mini-Grant Program.

Local units of government including cities, counties and public transit agencies within MAPA’s Transportation Management Area (TMA) are eligible to apply.

The TMA includes Douglas and Sarpy Counties in Nebraska, and the urbanized portion of western Pottawattamie County in Iowa.

The call is open October 30, 2023 until January 12, 2024

Project applications should be submitted to MAPA no later than 4:30 p.m. on January 12, 2024.
