PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
THE LARIMORE
REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT PLAN
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will meet and hold a public hearing on June 6, 2023, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183 for the purpose of hearing testimony for:
The Larimore
Redevelopment Project Plan
Applicant: Michael B. Maroney, Omaha Economic Development Corporation
Location: 3483 Larimore Avenue
The redevelopment project plan proposes the rehabilitation and reuse of the long vacant structure as an affordable housing senior living apartment project.
The Planning Board recommended approval of this Redevelopment Project Plan at the April 5, 2023 public hearing.
The Redevelopment Project Plan authorizes the City’s participation in the redevelopment of this project site through the allocation of TIF in an amount up to $213,518.00, which includes capitalized interest. TIF loan proceeds will be used to offset eligible expenses such as building rehabilitation construction costs and architectural and engineering costs and other public improvements as required. The total estimated project costs are $19,693,900.00, but are subject to change as final costs come in.
A copy of said plan is available for public inspection in the City Clerk’s Office.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will meet and hold a public hearing on June 6, 2023, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183 for the purpose of hearing testimony for:
Hamilton Village Senior Suites Redevelopment Project Plan
Applicant: Melvin Sudbeck, Hamilton Village Senior Suites, LLC
Location: 4102 Hamilton Street
The redevelopment project plan proposes the new construction of a four and five story mixed income senior apartment building with 59 apartment units.
The Planning Board recommended approval of this Redevelopment Project Plan at the April 5, 2023 public hearing.
The Redevelopment Project Plan authorizes the City’s participation in the redevelopment of this project site through the allocation of TIF in an amount up to $558,092.00, which includes capitalized interest. TIF loan proceeds will be used to offset eligible expenses such as acquisition, building demolition, site work, architectural and engineering costs, and other public improvements as required. The total estimated project costs are $12,989,926.00, but are subject to change as final costs come in.
