NSBA Launches Law Practice Management Advisor Program
The Nebraska State Bar is pleased to announce the launch of its new Law Practice Management Advisor Program. The program will provide members with advice and assistance in a broad range of practice management areas such as:
• Starting a new practice
• Selecting legal technology software and services
• Guidance with case or document management systems
• Client relationship management programs
• Providing legal services remotely
• Cybersecurity / data protection
• Office organization
• Client development and marketing
• Retiring from practice or winding down
Executive Director, Liz Neeley shared, “When we survey members of the Association, they indicate that one of their primary challenges is staying abreast of changes in legal technology. We are proud to offer this new benefit to the sustaining members of the NSBA.”
Adriana Linares, of LawTech Partners, will serve as our Practice Management Advisor (PMA).
Adriana has been helping lawyers with their technology and practice management needs for 25 years. She was profiled as a Legal Rebel Trailblazer by the ABA Journal in 2018 and served as Chair of the American Bar Association TECHSHOW 2017. Adriana has hosted the New Solo podcast on the Legal Talk Network since 2014 and recently joined Litera as a podcast host on their network, LegalTech Matters. Adriana also works with the Florida Bar and the San Diego County Bar Association.
Assistance through the program will be free, unbiased, confidential, and keep our member's ethical duty of technological competence top of mind.
