Notice is hereby given that a regular meeting of the Sarpy County Planning Commission will be on Tuesday, July 21, 2020, at 7:00 P.M. in the Sarpy County Board Room, Sarpy County Administration Bldg., 1210 Golden Gate Drive, Papillion NE.  A Public Hearing will be held on the following applications:

Rex Johnson has submitted an application for consideration of a Special Use Permit for a Home Occupation I (Major) in RD-50 zoning district to allow the repair and customization of firearms at the property commonly addressed 7221 S 180th Avenue and legally described as Sublot 13 of Lot 175, Sunridge. Generally located on the northwest corner of S 180th and Josephine Streets. 

Kelsey Vala has submitted an application for consideration of a Special Use Permit in the AG and AGR zoning districts to allow a commercial recreational area to be known as Vala’s Pumpkin Patch and Apple Orchard located on the property commonly addressed 12102 S 180th Street and legally described as:  1) Tax Lots 1 & 3 & S 5.14 Ac Tax Lot 2 32-14-11 (24.85 ac);  2)  Tax Lots 7 & 8 5-13-11 (141.54 ac); 3)  Ne1/4 Nw1/4 & Tax Lot 5 Exc 10.36 Ac Tract 5-13-11 (62.68 ac) except that area located in the City of Gretna’s ETJ; 4) Tax Lot 3A2 & Irreg Pt Tax Lot 11 Lying N & W Of Interstate E 5-13-11 except that area located in the City of Gretna’s ETJ; 5)  Tax Lot 10 5-13-11 (60.01 ac) except that area located in the City of Gretna’s ETJ; 6)  663.30 X 660 Ft Tract Being Pt Tax Lot 11 Sw1/4 5-13-11 (10.04 ac); and 7)  Lot 1 Pumpkin Hollow (6.41 ac), Sarpy County, Nebraska. Generally located southwest of 180th Street and Schram Road. 

Sarpy County Planning & Building Department requests approval of a Comprehensive Plan Amendment to revise Figure 19, Residential Development Decision Matrix, to accommodate policies and rules of the Unified South Sarpy Wastewater Agency.
