The Omaha Public Schools Board of Education and Educational Service Unit 19 will hold their next regularly scheduled Board Meeting on Monday, December 14, 2020 at 6:30 PM Central.  The meeting will be held virtually utilizing Microsoft TEAMS.  The meeting may be viewed by clicking on the OPS Board Stream link under the Board of Education tab at district.ops.org.  A copy of the current agenda is available for public inspection in the office of the Board Secretary at TAC during normal business hours.  The agenda may also be viewed by clicking on the Current Meeting link under the Board of Education tab at district.ops.org.  Members of the public wishing to participate in public comment may do so by clicking on the link provided in the agenda.

OMAHA PUBLIC SCHOOLS

ADVERTISEMENT FOR PROPOSAL

1.  Sealed bids addressed to the Board of Education of the Omaha Public Schools, Douglas County, Nebraska, for the KIOS tower study proposal, Bid Number P016-21, for the Omaha Public Schools, hereinafter called the “District” will be received in the office of District Operational Services, Omaha Public Schools, 4041 N. 72nd Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68134 until 2:00 PM, CST, January 13, 2021.  At that time, the eligible firms will be noted, read aloud and tabulation will be made. Proposals will be scored by an evaluation team with the top two firms being given the opportunity to interview for the project. The top interviewing firm will be presented to the Board of Education at the next regular meeting, February 2, 2021 for consideration in awarding the Contract.  Any proposal received after the closing time will be returned unopened.  The time clock maintained by OPS District Operational Services shall be the official clock utilized to determine the time for close of bidding.
