NOTICE INVITING BIDS

Seventy-Five North, in partnership with the City of Omaha for the Single-Family Construction Program, is seeking bids from qualified licensed Class A – C Construction Managers to serve as General Contractors for single-family homes to be constructed near the southeast corner of 30th & Parker Street.  Blair Freeman Group is serving as the Owner’s Representative. Eligible homebuyers will benefit from the Single-Family Construction Program, part of Omaha 100 Inc., a homebuyer assistance program.

The scope of work can be obtained by contacting the Owner’s Representative amy@blairfreeman.com.  Deadline for proposals is January 31st at 3:00 P.M.  Emailed bids and questions are to contain the subject line “Parker Street Homes GC”.

Attention is called to the fact that not less than minimum wage may be paid on this project.  The contractor must, furthermore, insure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color or creed, sex or national origin.  The GC must provide a certificate of insurance showing comprehensive liability insurance coverage (a minimum of $1,000,000 per occurrence), combined bodily injury and Property Damage ($1,000,000 each occurrence, $2,000,000 minimum) and Product, Including Completed Operations (for a minimum of $1,000,000).

The Blair Freeman Group, a General Contractor for The Urban Homestead Program in partnership with Seventy-Five North, is seeking bids from qualified subcontractors for the renovation of three single-family homes: 2724, 2802, 2808 North 30th Street.  The construction will be run simultaneously. Eligible homebuyers will benefit from the program, part of Omaha 100 Inc., a homebuyer assistance program.
