PUBLIC MEETING NOTICE

The Transit Advisory Committee (TAC) of the Regional Metropolitan Transit Authority of Omaha will hold a regularly scheduled TAC meeting on Wednesday, January 8th 2025, at 6:30 p.m. at the offices of the Transit Authority: 2222 Cuming Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68102.

The proposed agenda items are: Introductions and statement from the Chair – Approval of previous meeting minutes – Paratransit appeals – Metro updates and upcoming events -- Overview of TAC’s Role in ADA Paratransit (MOBY) Eligibility by Alicia Johnson, Director of Civil Rights and Inclusion – Committee report on public feedback – Discuss communication with board – Public comment period – Announcement of date and time of next TAC meeting – Adjournment.

The proposed agenda, being kept continually current, shall be available for public inspection in the Transit Authority Administrative building or on the www.ometro.com/tac website. The Transit Advisory Committee meeting will be held simultaneously in person and online using Zoom. The public is invited to attend. The Board of Directors of the Regional Metropolitan Transit Authority of Omaha will hold an Organizational Meeting for the Newly Elected Board on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. The meeting will take place at the offices of the Transit Authority, located at 2222 Cuming Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68102.

The proposed agenda items are the Election of Board Chair – Election of Vice Chair – Adoption of By-Laws - Announcement of date and time for the next Board Meeting – Adjournment.

The proposed agenda kept continually current, shall be available for public inspection in the Transit Authority Administrative Building or on the www.ometro.com website.
