CITY OF OMAHA

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICES

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will hold public hearings on March 25, 2025, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183, for the purpose of hearing testimony for:

 

Res. that, the Preliminary Plat entitled Jackson Street Addition, a subdivision inside city limits, along with approval of a waiver to Section 53-8(4)(a), Lot Depth located southwest of 29th and Jackson Streets, along with the conditions, is hereby accepted; and, the preparation of the final plat of this subdivision is hereby authorized.

 

Res. that, the Preliminary Plat entitled Childrens Final Plat, a subdivision inside city limits, located northeast of 8th and Douglas Streets (property is located within an ACI-Area of Civic Importance Overlay District), along with the conditions, is hereby accepted; and, the preparation of the final plat of this subdivision is hereby authorized.

 

An ordinance to rezone property located at 3030 Upland Parkway from R5-Urban Family Residential District to R7-Medium-Density Multiple-Family Residential District (property is located within an NCE-Neighborhood Conservation/Enhancement Overlay District).

 

Res. that, the Preliminary Plat entitled 3030 Upland, a minor plat inside city limits, located at 3030 Upland Parkway (property is located within an NCE-Neighborhood Conservation/Enhancement Overlay District), along with the conditions, is hereby accepted; and, the preparation of the final plat of this subdivision is hereby authorized.

 

Res. that, the Final Plat entitled 3030 Upland, a minor plat inside city limits, located at 3030 Upland Parkway (property is located within an NCE-Neighborhood Conservation/Enhancement Overlay District), is hereby approved and accepted.

 

An ordinance to rezone property located northwest of 204th and Q Streets from AG- Agricultural District to MU-Mixed Use District.

 

An ordinance to approve a Major Amendment to a Mixed Use District Development Agreement for Kensington Park, for the property located northwest of 204th and Q Streets, to allow for development of the site with a variety of residential and commercial uses.

 

Res. that, the Revised Preliminary Plat entitled Kensington Park, a subdivision outside the city limits, with approval of a waiver to Section 53-8(4)d, Lot Frontage, located northwest of 204th and Q Streets, along with the conditions, is hereby accepted; and, the preparation of the final plat of this subdivision is hereby authorized.

 

Res. that, the Final Plat entitled Kensington Park (Lots 19-22), a subdivision outside city limits, located northwest of 204th and Q Streets, is hereby approved and accepted.

 

Res. that, the Subdivision Agreement among the City of Omaha, Western Springs Land Corp, The Kensington Park Owners Association, and Sanitary and Improvement District (S.&I.D.) 629 of Douglas County, Nebraska, as recommended by the Mayor, is hereby approved. The Subdivision is to be known as Kensington Park (Lots 19- 22) and is located northwest of 204th and Q Streets.

 

An ordinance to rezone property at 3960 North 36th Avenue from R4(35)-Single-Family Residential District (High-Density) to R5-Urban Family Residential District.

 

An ordinance to approve a PUR-Planned Unit Redevelopment Overlay District, located at 5804 Corby Street, to approve the Development Plan.
