ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

1.01 THE OWNER:

A.  Gretna Public Schools, 11717 South 216th Street, Gretna, Nebraska 68028.

1.02 THE ENGINEER:

A.  Morrissey Engineering Inc., 4940 North 118th Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68164.

B.  Morrissey Engineering Project No. 25326.

1.03 TO: POTENTIAL BIDDERS

A.  The Board of Education of Gretna Public Schools, County of Sarpy, State of Nebraska, will receive sealed bids for a Combined Contract, including General, Mechanical and Electrical Work for the Gretna Middle School HVAC & Lighting Upgrade - Phase 1 located at 11705 South 216th Street, Gretna, Nebraska 68028.

B.  The Project consists of the construction of approximately 67,810 square feet of HVAC, Lighting, and ceiling renovations.

C.  Bids must be on a Lump Sum basis.

D.  Bids for the Gretna Middle School HVAC & Lighting Upgrade - Phase 1 will be received until 2:00 p.m. local time, November 20, 2025, at the Gretna Public Schools District Office Board Room located at 11717 South 216th Street, Gretna, Nebraska.

E.  Bids received after this time will not be accepted. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.

F.  Bidding Documents may be examined at the following exchanges after October 27, 2025:

1.  A & D Virtual Plan Room.

2.  DODGE DATA & ANALYTICS, 4300 Beltway Place, Suite 150, Arlington, TX 76018.

3.  OMAHA BUILDERS EXCHANGE, 4159 South 94th Street, Omaha, NE 68127.

4.  LINCOLN BUILDERS BUREAU, 5910 South 58 St., Suite C, Lincoln, NE 68516.

G.  Bidders may obtain Bidding Documents from A & D Technical Supply, 4320 South 89th Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68127 (402-592-4950) from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. local time, Monday through Friday, in accord with the Instructions to Bidders.

H.  Bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the bid must accompany each bid in accord with the Instructions to Bidders.

I.   There will be a Pre-Bid Conference that will meet at the District Office and move to school at 3:30 p.m. local time on Thursday, November 6, 2025. Attendance of this Pre-Bid Conference is mandatory for all Contractors considering bidding the Project as the Prime Contractor. Other subcontractors are highly encouraged to attend this Pre-Bid Conference.

J.  The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities or irregularities in the bidding.
