NOTICE TO PUBLIC
The City Council of the City of Omaha will have a Pre-Council Meeting at 10:30 A.M. in the Conference Room, LC-1, Omaha/Douglas Civic Center, 1819 Farnam Street, for the purpose of discussing the agenda items and briefing and discussion of public business; and a regular Council Meeting at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 21, 2019, in the Legislative Chambers of the Omaha/Douglas Civic Center in Omaha, Nebraska. Proposed agenda kept continually current shall be available for public inspection in the Omaha/Douglas Civic Center at the Office of the City Clerk, but the Council shall have the right to modify the agenda to include items of an emergency nature only at such public meeting when convened.

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICES
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will hold public hearings on May 21, 2019, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183, for the purpose of hearing testimony for:
An ordinance approving a redevelopment and Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Redevelopment Agreement between the City of Omaha and ML Construction & Design, LLC, to implement the Midtown Hotel at 71st & Hascall Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Redevelopment Project Plan for a redevelopment project site located at 3301 South 72nd Street, which proposes new construction of a four-story structure for a hotel with 135 guest rooms and amenities, and construction of a small commercial building on the west end of the property; the agreement authorizes the use of up to $3,038,797.00, plus accrued interest, in excess ad valorem taxes (TIF) generated by the development to help fund the cost of the project
An ordinance to amend Omaha Municipal Code Chapter 18, by creating a new article to prohibit the use and distribution of single use plastic carryout bags at certain retail business establishments; to provide findings of legislative intent, definitions, regulations, and exceptions; to reserve future sections of the Omaha Municipal Code
