Notification of Project Meeting:  Request for Information
The City of Omaha would like to notify its intent to invite contractor involvement in constructability discussions for the upcoming OPW 52402 Riverview Lift Station project and OPW 53408 Transfer Lift Station Improvements projects.
The OPW 52402 (CSO) Riverview Lift Station Replacement Project includes the construction of Gibson Road sewer (1,400 LF 42-INCH Dia), two new diversion structures (one on the existing Riverview Park 8-FT x 6-FT combined box sewer and the other on the existing Grover Street 48-INCH combined sewer), and the new 7 MGD Riverview Lift Station. The lift station will be comprised of grit and screenings removal facilitates, a wet pit/dry pit pumping configuration, and encompasses an approximate foot print of 114 FT x 68 FT with a depth of 33 FT. The proposed lift station site is located along Gibson Road near the BNSF Railway Yard and adjacent to the Missouri River Flood Protection Levee.  
The OPW 53408 (CSO) Transfer Lift Station Improvements Project includes the replacement of five existing shaft driven wastewater pumps with five new 450 horsepower, dry pit submersible wastewater pumps, the replacement of two, 60 horsepower shaft driven storm water pumps with two new dry pit submersible storm water pumps, the installation of a new crane and associated components, miscellaneous demolition, and other improvements.
General contractors are invited to schedule a discussion with the City's project team, on May 31, 2019, to provide feedback on constructability concerns and solutions that can be incorporated into the current design as the City proceeds to final design.
