Notice is hereby given that the OMAHA CITY CLERK will receive sealed bids until WEDNESDAY, MARCH 20, 2019 AT 11:00 A.M. FOR DOUGLAS CO. PROJECT NO. C-28(569)B 2019 ARMOR COAT AND FOG SEAL 12.8 MILES OF COUNTY ROADS AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS.
Bids are to be submitted on the proposal forms and in accordance with plans and specifications available at www.questcdn.com. You may download the digital plan documents for $15.00 by inputting QuestCDN Project #6147124 on the website's Project search page. Please contact QuestCDN.com at (952) 233-1632 or info@questcdn.com for assistance in free membership registration, downloading, and working with this digital project information. Alternatively, paper copies of the plans and specifications are available at the office of the Douglas County Engineer, 15505 West Maple Road, Omaha, Nebraska. The cost of the paper plans and specifications is $ 30.00 plus $2.10 tax, and is non-refundable. Checks for the paper plans and specifications should be made payable to the Douglas County Engineer.
As evidence of good faith in submitting a proposal for this work, the bidder must file with his proposal, cash, certified check or bid bond, made payable to Douglas County in the sum of 5% of his bid, all of which shall be placed in a sealed envelope so marked as to indicate its contents without being opened. This envelope is to be placed in another envelope, which shall be sealed and addressed to the County Clerk.
The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Surety Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the contract.
The Board of Douglas County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
