PUBLIC HEARING NOTICES
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will hold public hearings on November 5, 2019, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183, for the purpose of hearing testimony for:
An ordinance to amend Ordinance number 41691 passed January 8, 2019 between the City of Omaha and the Boys and Girls Club of the Midlands. The amendment authorizes the Omaha Police Department by a pledge of donations from the Omaha Police Foundation to fund fifty percent of the cost of one (1) North Omaha and one (1) South Omaha gang specialist salary, with a project period of September 1, 2018 through September 30, 2020; to authorize payment from such and involving appropriations of more than one fiscal year in conformity with Section 5.17 of the Home Rule Charter
An ordinance to amend agreement dated May 2, 2019 and Ordinance number 41806 passed April 30, 2019 between the City of Omaha and the Boys and Girls Club of the Midlands the amendment authorizes the Omaha Police Department by a pledge of donations from the Omaha Police Foundation to fund fifty percent of the cost of one (1) North Omaha and one (1) South Omaha gang specialist salary, with a project period of February 20, 2019 to September 30, 2021; to authorize payment from such and involving appropriations of more than one fiscal year in conformity with Section 5.17 of the Home Rule Charter

NOTICE TO PUBLIC
The City Council of the City of Omaha will have a Pre-Council Meeting at 10:30 A.M. in the Conference Room, LC-1, Omaha/Douglas Civic Center, 1819 Farnam Street, for the purpose of discussing the agenda items and briefing and discussion of public business; and a regular Council Meeting at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 5, 2019, in the Legislative Chambers of the Omaha/Douglas Civic Center in Omaha, Nebraska. Proposed agenda kept continually current shall be available for public inspection in the Omaha/Douglas Civic Center at the Office of the City Clerk, but the Council shall have the right to modify the agenda to include items of an emergency nature only at such public meeting when convened.

Request for Proposals (RFP) Independent Property Assessor Services:
The Omaha Housing Authority (OHA) is seeking a qualified firm to perform a physical needs assessment (PNA). The PNA will consist of a physical inspection of all identified properties. The selected contractor will provide a full range of services including evaluating the existing conditions of the housing stock comprising a random selection of units, common areas, offices, and program areas.
All identified physical improvements will meet or exceed the HUD mandatory standards, and those established by local health, safety, and building codes. At a minimum, the goal of the PNA is to identify and provide a description of all physical improvements that will be required to bring the property back to a level comparable with “as built” to the degree reasonably possible based on available components and building age.
The effort shall provide the Agency with the information necessary to ensure long-term physical viability in a manner suitable for planning and budgeting purposes.
• Proposals will be available on November 1, 2019, after 10:00 a.m.
• Proposals will be accepted until December 5, 2019, at 10:00 a.m.
All activities will take place at the OHA Office, 1823 Harney Street, Omaha, NE 68102 Packets may be requested via email at contracts@ohauthority.org.
