PUBLIC HEARING NOTICES
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will hold public hearings on May 5, 2020, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183, for the purpose of hearing testimony for:
Res. that, the Preliminary Plat entitled Gene Leahy Mall Replat One, a minor plat inside city limits, located northeast of 13th and Farnam Streets, along with the conditions, is hereby accepted; and, the preparation of the final plat of this subdivision is hereby authorized.
Res. that, the Final Plat transmitted herewith entitled Gene Leahy Mall Replat One, a minor plat inside city limits, located northeast of 13th and Farnam Streets, is hereby approved, and concurrently a portion of the existing plat entitled the Original City of Omaha, and described on said replat, is hereby vacated.
An ordinance to rezone property located northwest and southwest of 11th and Dodge Streets from DS-Downtown Service District and CBD-Central Business District to CBD-Central Business District (property is located within an ACI-1-Areas of Civic Importance Overlay District).
Res. that, the Final Plat transmitted herewith entitled OPA Campus, a subdivision inside the city limits, located northwest and southwest of 11th and Dodge Streets, is hereby approved, and concurrently portions of the existing plats entitled Original City of Omaha, and Frankie Pane, and described on said replat, are hereby vacated.
Res. that, the Subdivision Agreement among the City of Omaha and Omaha Performing Arts Society, as recommended by the Mayor, is hereby approved. The Subdivision is to be known as OPA Campus (Lots 1-2) and is located southwest of 11th and Dodge Streets.

Res. that, the Final Plat entitled MCC-CIO Addition, a minor plat inside city limits, located southeast of Edward Babe Gomez Avenue and 33rd Street, is hereby approved and accepted. The replat transmitted herewith entitled MCC-CIO Addition, a minor plat inside city limits, located southeast of Edward Babe Gomez Avenue and 33rd Street, is hereby approved, and concurrently a portion of the existing plat entitled MCC-Smithfield Addition, and described on said replat, is hereby vacated.
Res. that, the Special Use Permit application submitted by James Thibodeau for a Major Amendment to the Large Project Special Use Permit (assumed) to allow College and university facilities in the GO-General Office District, located at 3003 Edward Babe Gomez Avenue, Omaha, Nebraska, is hereby approved and the Permits and Inspection Division is directed to issue the necessary permit therefor, provided the conditions set out in Exhibit “A” of the referenced application, conditions set out in Exhibit “B”, and all applicable local or state statutes, ordinances or regulations are complied with. The proposed Special Use Permit has been reviewed and evaluated pursuant to, and meets each of, the criteria set forth in Section 55-885 of the Omaha Municipal Code.
Res. that, the Subdivision Agreement among the City of Omaha, Metropolitan Community College Area, and Community Investment Opportunities, LLC, as recommended by the Mayor, is hereby approved. The Subdivision is to be known as MCC-CIO Addition (Lots 1-2) and is located southeast of Edward Babe Gomez Avenue and 33rd Street.
An ordinance to rezone property located at 3003and 3004 Miami Street from R5(35)-Urban Family Residential District to R5-Urban Family Residential District.
An ordinance to amend the boundaries of the ACI-1 Area of Civic Importance Overlay District, to incorporate into that district the property located at 3003 and 3004 Miami Street.
Res. that, the Preliminary Plat entitled Omaha View Replat 11, located at 3003 and 3004 Miami Street, along with the conditions, is hereby accepted; and, the preparation of the final plat of this subdivision is hereby authorized.
Res. that, the Final Plat transmitted herewith entitled Omaha View Replat 11, located at 3003 and 3004 Miami Street, is hereby approved, and concurrently portions of the existing plat entitled Omaha View, and described on said replat, is hereby vacated.

An ordinance to amend the boundaries of the ACI-4-Areas of Civic Importance Overlay District, to incorporate into that district the property located 7205 and 7215 Ontario Street.
Res. that, the Preliminary Plat entitled Sutton Place Replat 4, a minor plat located inside the city limits, located at 7205 and 7215 Ontario Street, along with the conditions, is hereby accepted; and, the preparation of the final plat of this subdivision is hereby authorized.
Res. that, the Final Plat transmitted entitled Sutton Place Replat 4, a minor plat located inside the city limits, located at 7205 and 7215 Ontario Street, is hereby accepted; and, the existing plat entitled Sutton Place Replat and described on said replat, is hereby vacated.

Res. that, the application submitted by Tim Jacoby on behalf of Children’s Hospital and Medical Center for a permit to allow a Heliport in a GO-General Office District (property is located in an ACI-2 Area of Civic Importance Overlay District) at 8200 West Dodge Road, Omaha, Omaha, Nebraska, pursuant to Omaha Municipal Code section 28-187, is hereby approved. The Permits and Inspection Division is directed to issue the necessary permit therefor, provided the conditions set out in Exhibit “A” of the referenced application, conditions set out in Exhibit “B”, and all applicable local or state statutes, ordinances or regulations are complied with.
Res. that, the Special Use Permit application submitted by J.S.J Enterprises, LLC for a Special Use Permit to allow General offices in the GI-General Industrial District (a portion of the property is located in the FF-Flood Fringe Overlay District) located at 7525 North 101st Street, Omaha, Nebraska, is hereby approved. The Permits and Inspection Division is directed to issue the necessary permit therefor, provided the conditions set out in Exhibit “A” of the referenced application, conditions set out in Exhibit “B”, and all applicable local or state statutes, ordinances or regulations are complied with.
