CITY OF OMAHA INVITATION TO BID ON: Helicopter Main Rotor Blades
BID OPENING DATE: 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 5, 2018
Sealed bids are invited and will be received on or before the opening time, as per specifications on file in the office of the Douglas County Purchasing Agent. These documents may also be found at www.douglascountypurchasing.org.
Sealed bids should be addressed to Elizabeth Butler, City Clerk, 1819 Farnam Street, LC 1, Omaha Douglas Civic Center, Omaha, NE 68183 and marked BID ON: Helicopter Main Rotor Blades and must be on file in her office on or before 11:00 a.m., on the bid opening date at which time the bids will be opened and read by the City Clerk before the Bid Opening Committee and the public in LC 4, Omaha Douglas Civic Center.
As evidence of good faith and guarantee that a contract will be entered into should an award be made thereon, a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid must accompany the bid. Failure to do so will be cause for rejection.
Douglas County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.

Sealed bids for the renovation/construction of the City of Omaha - Levi Carter Caretakers Residence Restoration, 4405 Carter Lakeshore Drive, Omaha, Nebraska are invited and will be received on or before the bid opening date, as per the project’s specifications.

There will be a non-mandatory, pre-bid meeting on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at 10:00 CDST. The meeting will be held at the Caretakers Residence, 4405 Carter Lakeshore Drive, Omaha, Nebraska. Meeting will be held rain or shine.
General Contractor shall self-perform with its own workforce a minimum of thirty percent (30%) of the total cost of the Contract. Purchasing of materials does not qualify as self-performing the Work.
As evidence of good faith and guarantee that contract will be entered into should award be made thereon, a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 5% of the bid must accompany bid. The bid bond or certified check shall be made payable to the “City of Omaha”. Failure to do so will be cause for rejection. City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in whole or in part, and the bidders shall have the right to appeal any decision to the City Council.
