Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Omaha met on July 14, 2020 and passed and approved the following ordinances:
ORDINANCE NO. 42258
AN ORDINANCE approving a bid for a Purchase Order to Omaha Door & Window Co., Inc. for Emergency Repairs to Overhead Doors and Gate Openers submitted through Douglas County Purchasing Department on April 29, 2020, with an annual estimated cost of $34,840.00 for a one (1) year price agreement with the option to extend for an additional four (4), one (1) year extensions upon agreement by both parties; involving the payment of money from appropriations of more than one year in accordance with Section 5.17 of the Home Rule Charter of 1956, as amended; to provide for payments from a specific account; and, to provide an effective date hereof. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA: Section 1. That the bid from Omaha Door & Window Co., Inc. for Emergency Repairs to Overhead Doors and Gate Openers, based on the bid submitted to Douglas Country Purchasing on April 29, 2020 with an annual estimated cost of $34,840.00, be awarded for a one year term with the option of four (4), one (1) year extensions. Section 2. That payments for Emergency Repairs to Overhead Doors and Gate Openers, involving appropriations of more than one year, are authorized in accordance with Section 5.17 of the Home Rule Charter of 1956, as amended.
Section 3. That the cost of Purchase Orders for repairs shall be paid through the General Fund 11111, Contract Administration Organization 116261. Section 4. That this Ordinance, being administrative in nature, shall take effect and be in full force upon the date of its passage.

AN ORDINANCE extending the limits of the City of Omaha over certain land in Douglas County, Nebraska, and incorporating the same into and making the same a part of the City of Omaha and to provide the effective date hereof. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA: Section 1. That the corporate limits of the City of Omaha be extended over and that there be included therein the following described lands in Douglas County, Nebraska, which presently adjoins the City Limits of the City of Omaha, as it now exists:
Beginning at a point on the existing City limits line of the City of Omaha, as established by Ordinance Number 36486, passed January 13, 2004, said point being the Northeast corner of Lot 22, Hillsborough Addition, a subdivision as surveyed, platted and recorded, in Douglas County, Nebraska; thence South 89º41’15” East, a distance of 319.35 feet; thence North 00º11’11” East, a distance of 937.73 feet; thence South 89º51’33” East, a distance of 50.21 feet; thence North 00º10’52” East a distance of 299.95 feet, to a point on the South right-of-way line of Larimore Avenue; thence West along said South right-of-way line, to the Northeast corner of Lot 590, said Hillsborough Addition; thence southerly along the east line of Lots 585, 586, 587 and 590 said addition, to the Northeast corner of Lot 49, Hillsborough Estates Addition, a subdivision as surveyed, platted and recorded, in Douglas County, Nebraska; thence N 89º41’15” W along the North line of lots 11, 12, 81 through 96, and 49, said addition, a distance of 1437.81 feet, to the Northwest corner of said Lot 11; thence S 00º10’59” W along the West line of said Hillsborough Estates Addition, a distance of 890.54 feet, to the Southwest corner of Outlot 4, said addition; thence east along the North line of Lots 22 through 40, said Hillsborough addition, to the Northeast corner of said Lot 22, said point also being the point of beginning.

The said territory upon the taking effect of this Ordinance shall be and become incorporated into, merged in, and be a part of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof and to its laws and ordinances. Section 2. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and take effect fifteen (15) days from and after the date of its passage. Section 3. That pursuant to NEB REV STAT§ 14-201.03 (Cum. Supp.2006) and NEB REV STAT § 32-553 et seq. (Reissue 2004) the lands annexed by the City of Omaha as described in Section 1 above shall be assigned to Omaha City Council District No. 7.

AIR QUALITY CONTROL
Notice is given to the public according to Chapter 41 of the Omaha Municipal Code of the application of CHI Bergan Mercy Medical for an operating permit for the hospital facility at 7500 Mercy Road, Omaha. The potential emissions, in tons, for this facility are: TSP 7.5, PM10 6.5, PM2.5 6.2, SOx 7.5, NOx 67.2, VOC 4.1, CO 57.3, Ammonia 2.3, Hexane 1.1 and CO2 equivalent 80,764.
No significant impact on air quality is expected from the operation of this facility. Douglas County is in attainment with air quality standards for the listed pollutants. Approval is recommended with the condition that any pollution control equipment that may be necessary for compliance with the City of Omaha or Nebraska Air Pollution Control Rules and Regulations will be installed within 180 days after notification by the City of noncompliance.
All information submitted by the applicant and the proposed approval by Air Quality Control are available for inspection by the public at the office of Omaha Air Quality Control from July 22, 2020 to August 22, 2020. Comments received during that period will be considered. During that period the applicant, or any interested person or group of persons, may request or petition the Control Officer for a public hearing, and state the nature of the issues to be raised and all arguments and factual grounds supporting their position. The Control Officer may hold a public hearing if the comments, requests, or petitions raise legal, policy or discretionary questions and significant public interest exists with respect to the application.
