PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
BOHEMIAN APARTMENTS
REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT PLAN
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will meet and hold a public hearing on December 8, 2020, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183 for the purpose of hearing testimony for:
The Bohemian Apartments Redevelopment Project Plan.
Location: Northwest of 12th and Williams Streets
The redevelopment project plan proposes the construction of a new 112 unit market rate apartment complex. The site abuts the east boundary of the recently designated Little Bohemia National Register Historic District. The development site will be cleared and a new apartment complex constructed. The site will be replatted as a single parcel for this redevelopment.
The Planning Board recommended approval of this Redevelopment Project Plan at the October 7, 2020 public hearing.
The Redevelopment Project Plan authorizes the City’s participation in the redevelopment of this project site through the allocation of TIF in an amount up to $2,050,000.00, plus accrued interest. TIF will be used to offset eligible expenses such as acquisition, demolition, site preparation, architectural and engineering fees, and other public improvements as required. The total estimated project costs are $17,839,000.00, but are subject to change as final costs come in.
A copy of said plan is available for public inspection in the City Clerk’s Office.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will meet and hold a public hearing on December 8, 2020, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183 for the purpose of hearing testimony for:
The Trio Redevelopment Project Plan.
Location: Southeast of 15th and Farnam Streets
The redevelopment project plan proposes a comprehensive rehabilitation of three buildings that will function as a single development and will ultimately contain 18 apartment units and three street level commercial spaces of about 7,200 square feet.
The Planning Board recommended approval of this Redevelopment Project Plan at the October 7, 2020 public hearing.
The Redevelopment Project Plan authorizes the City’s participation in the redevelopment of this project site through the allocation of TIF in an amount up to $710,000.00, plus accrued interest. TIF will be used to offset eligible expenses such as acquisition, demolition, site preparation, architectural and engineering fees, and other public improvements as required. The total estimated project costs are $7,314,276.00, but are subject to change as final costs come in.
