PUBLIC HEARING NOTICES
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will hold public hearings on December 8, 2020, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183, for the purpose of hearing testimony for:
An ordinance to rezone property located southeast of 114th and State Streets from AG-Agricultural District to R4-Single Family Residential District (High Density).
Res. that, the Final Plat entitled Deer Crest, a subdivision outside city limits, located southeast of 114th and State Streets, is hereby approved and accepted.
Res. that, the Subdivision Agreement among the City of Omaha, Celebrity Homes, Inc., the Deer Crest Homeowners Association, and Sanitary and Improvement District (S.&I.D.) 607 of Douglas County, Nebraska, as recommended by the Mayor, is hereby approved. The Subdivision is to be known as Deer Crest (Lots 1- 312 and Outlots A-G) and is located southeast of 114th and State Streets.
An ordinance to rezone property located southwest of 168th and Ida Streets from AG-Agricultural District to R4-Single-Family Residential District (High-Density).
Res. that, the Final Plat entitled Lakeview 168 (Lots 137-266, Outlots F-K), a subdivision outside city limits, located southwest of 168th and Ida Streets, is hereby approved and accepted.
Res. that, the Subdivision Agreement among the City of Omaha, Celebrity Homes, Inc, Lakeview 168 Homeowners Association, and Sanitary and Improvement District (S.&I.D.) 563 of Douglas County, Nebraska, as recommended by the Mayor, is hereby approved. The Subdivision is to be known as Lakeview 168 (Lots 137-266 and Outlots F-K) and is located southwest of 168th and Ida Streets.
An ordinance to rezone property located southwest of 192nd and Harney Streets from AG-Agricultural District and R5-Urban Family Residential District to DR-Development Reserve District.
An ordinance to rezone property located southwest of 192nd and Harney Streets from AG-Agricultural District and R5-Urban Family Residential District to R5-Urban Family Residential District.
Res. that, the Final Plat transmitted herewith entitled Evert Place Replat 1 (Lots 1-23, Outlots A-C), a subdivision outside the city limits, located southwest of 192nd and Harney Streets, is hereby approved, and concurrently a portion of the existing plat entitled Evert Place, and described on said replat, is hereby vacated.
Res. that, the Special Use Permit application submitted by Nate Fichter for a Special Use Permit to allow Day care services (general) in the R5-Urban Family Residential District, located at 660 South 193rd Plaza, is hereby approved and the Permits and Inspection Division is directed to issue the necessary permit therefor, provided the conditions set out in Exhibit “A” of the referenced application, conditions set out in Exhibit “B”, and all applicable local or state statutes, ordinances or regulations are complied with. The proposed Special Use Permit has been reviewed and evaluated pursuant to, and meets each of, the criteria set forth in Section 55-885 of the Omaha Municipal Code.
Res. that, the Subdivision Agreement among the City of Omaha, All Holy Spirit Greek Orthodox Church, RNR Legacy, LLC, The Evert Place Owners Association, and Sanitary and Improvement District (S.&I.D.) 600 of Douglas County, Nebraska, as recommended by the Mayor, is hereby approved. The City’s sewer contribution shall be paid from the Sewer Revenue Fund, Organization 116911, Fund 21124. The Subdivision is to be known as Evert Place Replat 1 (Lots 1-23 and Outlots A-B) and is located at 450 South 193rd Street.
An ordinance to amend the boundaries of the ACI-4 Area of Civic Importance Overlay District, to incorporate into that district the property located southwest of 72nd and State Streets.
Res. that, the Preliminary Plat entitled Country Club Plaza Replat 1, a minor plat inside the city limits located southwest of 72nd and State Streets, along with the conditions, is hereby accepted; and, the preparation of the final plat of this subdivision is hereby authorized.
Res. that, the Final Plat transmitted herewith entitled Country Club Plaza Replat 1, a minor plat inside the city limits located southwest of 72nd and State Streets, is hereby approved, and concurrently portions of the existing plat entitled Country Club Plaza, and described on said replat, are hereby vacated.
Res. that, the Large Project Special Use Permit application submitted by Scannell Properties #451, LLC, in the CC-Community Commercial District, located southwest of 72nd and State Streets, Omaha, Nebraska, is hereby approved and the Permits and Inspection Division is directed to issue the necessary permit therefor, provided the conditions set out in Exhibit “A” of the referenced application, conditions set out in Exhibit “B”, and all applicable local or state statutes, ordinances or regulations are complied with. The proposed Large Project Special Use Permit has been reviewed and evaluated pursuant to, and meets each of, the criteria set forth in Section 55-885 of the Omaha Municipal Code.
Res. that, the Subdivision Agreement among the City of Omaha, Scannell Properties #451, LLC, and Sanitary and Improvement District (S.&I.D.) 452 of Douglas County, Nebraska, as recommended by the Mayor, is hereby approved. The Subdivision is to be known as Country Club Plaza Replat 1 (Lot 1) and is located southwest of 72nd and State Streets.
Res. that, the Special Use Permit application submitted by Tony Barnes, for a Special Use Permit to allow Outdoor sports and recreation in the AG-Agricultural District, located at 4906 South 180th Street, Omaha, Nebraska, is hereby approved and the Permits and Inspection Division is directed to issue the necessary permit therefor, provided the conditions set out in Exhibit “A” of the referenced application, conditions set out in Exhibit “B”, and all applicable local or state statutes, ordinances or regulations are complied with. The proposed Special Use Permit has been reviewed and evaluated pursuant to, and meets each of, the criteria set forth in Section 55-885 of the Omaha Municipal Code.
Res. that, the Special Use Permit application submitted by Mark Sanford for a Special Use Permit to allow Funeral services in the GI-General Industrial District located at 9370 North 45th Street, Omaha, Nebraska, is hereby approved and the Permits and Inspection Division is directed to issue the necessary permit therefor, provided the conditions set out in Exhibit “A” of the referenced application, conditions set out in Exhibit “B”, and all applicable local or state statutes, ordinances or regulations are complied with. The proposed Special Use Permit has been reviewed and evaluated pursuant to, and meets each of, the criteria set forth in Section 55-885 of the Omaha Municipal Code.
Res. that, the Special Use Permit application submitted by Jackson Family Companies, LLC, for a Special Use Permit to allow Auto sales in a GC-General Commercial District, located southwest of 40th Street and Bedford Avenue, Omaha, Nebraska, is hereby approved and the Permits and Inspection Division is directed to issue the necessary permit therefor, provided the conditions set out in Exhibit “A” of the referenced application, conditions set out in Exhibit “B”, and all applicable local or state statutes, ordinances or regulations are complied with. The proposed Special Use Permit has been reviewed and evaluated pursuant to, and meets each of, the criteria set forth in Section 55-885 of the Omaha Municipal Code.
