NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Education of Sarpy County School District 77-0037 a/k/a Gretna Public Schools, a Class III public school and Nebraska political subdivision

(“School”) is hereby requesting bids from qualified contractors to provide auditorium lighting and rigging systems at Gretna High School, located at 11335 South 204th Street, Gretna, NE 68028 and Giles Creek Middle School located at 19075 Giles Road, Omaha, Nebraska 68136.

The School District hereby invites interested qualified contractors to submit bids for the requested scope of work. The project scope includes the removal and replacement of auditorium lighting and rigging systems at Gretna High School and installation of new auditorium lighting fixtures at the new Giles Creek Middle School. The scope will include the removal of all demolished materials, coordination with the school districts electrical contractor for the relocation or installation of electrical and low voltage pathways, conduits, conductors and devices as required for the completed installation of specified systems. The electrical contractor will be retained and paid directly by the Gretna Public School District.

A pre-bid conference will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in person at Gretna High School, 11335 South 204th Street, Gretna, Nebraska.

Bids must be received at the School’s administrative office at 11717 South 216th Street, Gretna, Nebraska no later than 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 6th, 2025. Bids may be delivered in person, via United States Mail, or parcel service. Only such bids as have been received by the School at the address, time and date listed above, will be considered. Following the opening of bids, the bids will be evaluated, and a firm will be selected.

The School reserves the right to reject any and all bids received that are not deemed to be in the best interests of the School. The School further reserves the right to cancel or amend the request for bids at any time and will notify all persons requesting bid documents accordingly.
