HVAC SYSTEM ANALYSIS AND

UPGRADE OR REPLACEMENT PROJECT

NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Education of Sarpy County School District 77-0037 a/k/a Gretna Public Schools, a Class III public school and Nebraska political subdivision (“School”) is hereby requesting proposals from qualified consultants to provide engineering design, bidding and construction related services at Gretna Middle School - HVAC Analysis and upgrade or replacement, located at 11705 South 216th Street, Gretna, Nebraska.

The School District hereby invites interested qualified consultants to submit proposals for the requested scope of work. The project scope includes the analysis of approximately 153,000 square feet of the existing HVAC systems in order to make recommendations for upgrades and / or replacement. The scope will include the removal of the demolished systems / materials, relocation of various utility services, revised piping and ductwork as required for the upgrades or installation of new HVAC system components and as further determined throughout the Pre-design process.

A pre-proposal conference will be held on Thursday, May 8, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in person at Gretna District Administration Building, 11717 South 216th Street, Gretna, Nebraska. A tour of the existing Gretna Middle School will be included as a part of the pre-proposal conference.

Proposals must be received at the School’s administrative office at 11717 South 216th Street, Gretna, Nebraska no later than 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 29th, 2025. Proposals may be delivered in person, via United States Mail, or parcel service. Only such proposals as have been received by the School at the address, time and date listed above, will be considered. Following the opening of proposals, the proposals will be evaluated, and a consultant firm will be selected.

The School reserves the right to reject any and all proposals received that are not deemed to be in the best interests of the School. The School further reserves the right to cancel or amend the request for proposals at any time and will notify all persons requesting proposal documents accordingly.
