PUBLIC HEARING NOTICES
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will hold public hearings on June 25, 2024, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183, for the purpose of hearing testimony for:
An ordinance to rezone property located southeast of 204th and Harney Streets from AG – Agricultural District and R7 – Multiple-Family Residential District (Medium-Density) to R7- Multiple-Family Residential District (Medium-Density).
An ordinance to amend the boundaries of the MCC-Major Commercial Corridor Overlay District, to incorporate into that district the property located at southeast of 204th and Harney Streets.
An ordinance to approve a Major Amendment to the PUD-Planned Unit Development Overlay District located southeast of 204th and Harney Streets, to approve the Development Plan.
Res. that, the Final Plat transmitted herewith entitled Brookestone Meadows Replat 3, a subdivision inside city limits, located southeast of 204th and Harney Streets, is hereby approved, and concurrently a portion of the existing plats entitled Brookestone Meadows Replat 2, and described on said replat, is hereby vacated.
Res. that, the Subdivision Agreement among the City of Omaha, Brookestone Meadows, Inc., and Vetter Senior Living, as recommended by the Mayor, is hereby approved. The Subdivision is to be known as Brookestone Meadows Replat Three (Lots 1-2) and is located southeast of 204th and Harney Streets.
An ordinance to approve a Major Amendment to a PUR-Planned Unit Redevelopment Overlay District located at 3719 Farnam Street, to approve the Development Plan.
An ordinance to amend the boundaries of the MCC-Major Commercial Corridor Overlay District, to incorporate into that district the property located at 5121 North 132nd Street.
An ordinance to amend the boundaries of the MCC-Major Commercial Corridor Overlay District, to incorporate into that district the property located at 7300 Graceland Drive.
An ordinance to rezone property located at 4358 Dodge Street from GC-General Commercial District and R7-Medium-Density Multiple-Family Residential District to CC Community Commercial District (property is located within an ACI-Area of Civic Importance Overlay District).
An ordinance to rescind the PK-Parking Overlay District for property located at 4358 Dodge Street (property is located within an ACI-Area of Civic Importance Overlay District).
Res. that, the Special Use Permit application submitted by American Tower LLC for a Special Use Permit to allow a Broadcasting tower in the CC District, with a waiver to Section 55-366, Height to allow a 105-foot-tall tower, located at 14210 Arbor Street, is hereby approved and the Permits and Inspection Division is directed to issue the necessary permit therefor, provided the conditions set out in Exhibit “A” of the referenced application, conditions set out in Exhibit “B”, and all applicable local or state statutes, ordinances or regulations are complied with. The proposed Special Use Permit has been reviewed and evaluated pursuant to, and meets each of, the criteria set forth in Section 55-885 of the Omaha Municipal Code.
Res. that, the Special Use Permit application submitted by Bill Alfred for a Special Use Permit to allow Automotive rentals in the CC District, located at 3434 South 84th Street (property is located within an MCC-Major Commercial Corridor Overlay District), is hereby approved and the Permits and Inspection Division is directed to issue the necessary permit therefor, provided the conditions set out in Exhibit “A” of the referenced application, conditions set out in Exhibit “B”, and all applicable local or state statutes, ordinances or regulations are complied with. The proposed Special Use Permit has been reviewed and evaluated pursuant to, and meets each of, the criteria set forth in Section 55-885 of the Omaha Municipal Code.
Res. that, the Special Use Permit application submitted by Shelterbelt Theatre for a Special Use Permit to allow Indoor Entertainment in the GI District, located at 4383 Nicholas Street Unit 204, is hereby approved and the Permits and Inspection Division is directed to issue the necessary permit therefor, provided the conditions set out in Exhibit “A” of the referenced application, conditions set out in Exhibit “B”, and all applicable local or state statutes, ordinances or regulations are complied with. The proposed Special Use Permit has been reviewed and evaluated pursuant to, and meets each of, the criteria set forth in Section 55-885 of the Omaha Municipal Code.
Res. that, the Special Use Permit application submitted by Timothy Nelsen for a Special Use Permit to allow General retail sales in the GI-General Industrial District, located at 4356 South 87th Street, is hereby approved and the Permits and Inspection Division is directed to issue the necessary permit therefor, provided the conditions set out in Exhibit “A” of the referenced application, conditions set out in Exhibit “B”, and all applicable local or state statutes, ordinances or regulations are complied with. The proposed Special Use Permit has been reviewed and evaluated pursuant to, and meets each of, the criteria set forth in Section 55-885 of the Omaha Municipal Code.
