ORDINANCE NO. 43935
AN ORDINANCE to accept the bid of Abe’s Trash Service, Inc., to provide rubbish container services for the Omaha Fire Department, including all fire stations, the Public Education Office (Station 10), the Public Safety Training Center, and the Technical Services Division building, for a term of 12 months at a total cost of $29,796.00, with the option to extend the agreement for an additional three years at the discretion of the City of Omaha; and to provide an effective date hereof.

AN ORDINANCE to approve an Employee Assistance Program Agreement between CHI Nebraska d/b/a CHI Health, a Nebraska nonprofit corporation and the City of Omaha, a municipal corporation; to provide for an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for a period of three years from June 1, 2024 through May 31, 2027 at a cost of eleven dollars and sixty-seven cents ($11.67) per employee per year; the Agreement provides for two one-year options; such funds to be paid from Fund 11111, Organization 118018, Account No. 41331; and to provide an effective date hereof.

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will hold a public hearing on September 10, 2024, at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183. The purpose of this hearing is to consider approval of a Big Red satellite keno agreement between EHPV Lottery Services, LLC and:
Attack Angle, LLC, dba “Net Par”, located at 225 North 12th Street, Suite 150.
Fore Seasons Golf of Omaha, LLC, dba “Fore Seasons Golf”, located at 19150 Pacific Street, Douglas County.
Hank’s Enterprises, LLC, dba “Hank’s Enterprises”, located at 3922 Ames Avenue.
Okey Dokey Bar & Grill, LLC, dba “Okey Dokey Bar & Grill”, located at 2007 North 72nd Street.

AIR QUALITY CONTROL
Notice is given to the public according to Chapter 41 of the Omaha Municipal Code of the application of American Laboratories, LLC for a renewal of their air emission operating permit for the food grade enzymes manufacturing facility at 5020 South 33rd Street, Omaha. The potential emissions at this facility, in tons, will be: PM10 5.8, PM2.5 5.8, SOx 0.1, NOx 7.3, VOC 1866.8, CO 6.2 and CO2 equivalent 8,852.1.
No significant impact on air quality is expected from the operation of this facility. Douglas County is in attainment with air quality standards for the listed pollutants. Approval is recommended with the condition that any pollution control equipment that may be necessary for compliance with the City of Omaha or Nebraska Air Pollution Control Rules and Regulations will be installed within 180 days after notification by the City of noncompliance.
All information submitted by the applicant and the proposed approval by Air Quality Control are available for inspection by the public at the office of Omaha Air Quality Control from August 28, 2024 to September 28, 2024. Comments received during that period will be considered. During that period the applicant, or any interested person or group of persons, may request or petition the Control Officer for a public hearing, and state the nature of the issues to be raised and all arguments and factual grounds supporting their position. The Control Officer may hold a public hearing if the comments, requests, or petitions raise legal, policy or discretionary questions and significant public interest exists with respect to the application.
