Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Omaha met on April 30, 2019 and passed and approved the ordinances entitled:
 
ORDINANCE NO. 41797
AN ORDINANCE to approve a Major Amendment to a Mixed Use District Development Agreement for Antler View, located southeast of 192nd Street and West Maple Road, to change the current language of the agreement that requires buildings that are constructed to meet the 10 percent office requirement have a single primary entrance and a central lobby, and use the proposed “office condominiums” on Lots 15-16 to meet the office requirement for MU areas, between the City of Omaha and 192 Maple LLC, providing site development standards; and to provide for an effective date. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA: Section 1. That the City of Omaha, in the interest of maintaining public health, safety, and welfare, desires to assure the property located southeast of 192nd Street and West Maple Road is developed in accordance with the provisions of the Major Amendment to a Mixed Use Development Agreement attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference. Section 2. That if this Ordinance, or portion thereof, is found to be invalid, any zoning ordinance applicable to such site shall not be invalidated for such reason. Section 3. ORDINANCE NO. 41799
AN ORDINANCE to amend the official zoning map of the City of Omaha adopted by Section 55-65 of the Omaha Municipal Code, by changing certain boundaries of the official zoning map of the City of Omaha in accordance with Section 55-886 of the Omaha Municipal Code, to rezone property located northwest of 180th and Fort Streets from AG-Agricultural District to R4-Single-Family Residential District (High Density). BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA: Section 1. The official zoning map adopted by Section 55-65 of the Omaha Municipal Code be, and the same hereby is, changed and amended in accordance with Section 55-886 of the Omaha Municipal Code so that: Lots 1-32 and Outlot A, Woodbrook West, a subdivision as surveyed, platted and recorded in Douglas County, Nebraska, are hereby rezoned from AG-Agricultural District to R4-Single-Family Residential District (High Density). Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect fifteen (15) days from the date of its passage.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA: Section 1. That the City of Omaha, in the interest of maintaining public health, safety, and welfare, desires to assure the property located northeast of 156th and Ida Streets is developed in accordance with the provisions of the Major Amendment to a Mixed Use Development Agreement attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference. ORDINANCE NO. 41802
AN ORDINANCE approving an Agreement between the City of Omaha, Nebraska and Rollin Terryberry of Cass County Nebraska, involving the payment of money from appropriations of more than one year in accordance with Section 5.17 of the Home Rule Charter of 1956, as amended; to provide for the terms and conditions under which Rollin Terryberry will receive and land apply stabilized sewage sludge according to applicable standards, laws and policies of the City of Omaha and other relevant jurisdictions for an agreement period ending December 31, 2022 with up to four automatic one-year renewals; to authorize the Finance Department to pay a sum not to exceed $0.60 per cubic yard of stabilized sludge from the Sewer Revenue Fund 21121; and to provide an effective date hereof. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA: Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Omaha hereby approves the Agreement between the City of Omaha, Nebraska and Rollin Terryberry of Cass County Nebraska, which by this reference is made a part hereof, that outlines the terms and conditions under which the Stabilized Sewage Sludge from the City of Omaha shall be received, stored and land applied, is hereby approved. Section 2. ORDINANCE NO. 41806
AN ORDINANCE (1) to approve an Agreement between the City of Omaha and the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Midlands in the amount of ninety-one thousand, four hundred and eighty-six dollars ($91,486); and (2) to authorize funding for such agreement from the City of Omaha's FY 2018 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program, Award #2018-DJ-BX-0171, awarded by the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs, Bureau of Justice Assistance; to provide funding for two (2) Gang Specialist positions; to authorize payment from such grant funding and involving appropriations of more than one year in conformity with Section 5.17 of the Home Rule Charter; and, providing for the effective date hereof. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA: Section 1. That, as recommended by the Mayor, the agreement between the City of Omaha and the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Midlands in the amount of ninety-one thousand, four hundred eighty-six dollars ($91,486) to employ two (2) Gang Specialists, budgeted from and funded by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), Office of Justice Programs (OJP), Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA), FY 2018 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program, Award #2018-DJ-BX-00171; is hereby approved. Section 2. That, the Agreement shall extend from February 20, 2019 to September 30, 2021, commencing upon approval of this ordinance. In conformity with Section 5.17 of the Home Rule Charter, total expenditures as outlined in the attached budget, from such grant funds and involving appropriations of more than one year, are hereby authorized and the Finance Director is authorized to make payment in accordance therewith. Section 3. There is no match with this grant. Section 4. That this Ordinance being administrative, and not legislative, in character shall be in full force and take effect immediately upon passage.

Attention is called to the fact that not less than minimum salaries and wages as specified by the U.S. Secretary of Labor as set forth in the specification may be paid on the rehabilitation work.  The contractor must, furthermore, insure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color or creed, sex or national origin.
The bidder must file a certificate of insurance with the Rehab Division evidencing comprehensive public liability insurance coverage protecting the property owner for not less than $1,000,000 per occurrence, $2,000,000 aggregate arising out of the work performed by the contractor.  Evidence of workman's compensation insurance must be shown prior to receipt of the order to proceed with the work.
