NOTICE INVITING BIDS
The City of Omaha, acting as Agent for the owner, invites bids for the LEAD HAZARD CONTROL OF DWELLING UNIT at:

Closing Time: 3:00 P.M., Wednesday, May 22, 2019
Sealed bids are invited and will be received on or before the closing time, as per specifications on file in the office of Rehab Division of the Planning Department, Room 1111, Omaha/Douglas Civic Center.
Sealed bids to be addressed to Rehabilitation Division, Room 1111, Omaha/Douglas Civic Center marked "Bid on LEAD HAZARD CONTROL OF DWELLING UNIT,” with the address and job number identified, must be on file in this office on or before 3:00 P.M. on the closing date, at which time the bids will be opened and read by the Rehab Division before bidders and the public in Room 1111, Omaha/Douglas Civic Center.
Attention is called to the fact that not less than minimum salaries and wages as specified by the U.S. Secretary of Labor as set forth in the specification may be paid on the rehabilitation work. The contractor must, furthermore, ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color or creed, sex or national origin.
The bidder must file a certificate of insurance with the Rehab Division evidencing comprehensive public liability insurance coverage protecting the property owner for not less than $1,000,000 per occurrence, $2,000,000 aggregate arising out of the work performed by the contractor. Evidence of workman's compensation insurance must be shown prior to receipt of the order to proceed with the work.
The owner reserves the right to accept, reject, or negotiate any or all bids in whole or in part.

To the owners of all lots, lands, tracts, and parcels of land within proposed Multiple Improvement District No. 2019-03, and to all owners of property abutting on and adjacent to Park Avenue and South 31st Street, between Marcy Street and Woolworth Avenue:
Notice is hereby given that there has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of Omaha a petition for the improvement of Park Avenue and South 31st Street, between Marcy Street and Woolworth Avenue by constructing multiple public improvements, including sanitary sewer, storm sewer, street paving and sidewalks.
We, the undersigned, owners of lots or lands abutting upon that part of Park Avenue and South 31st Street, between Marcy Street and Woolworth Avenue in proposed Multiple Improvement District No. 2019-03 in the City of Omaha, being record owners of a majority of the feet frontage on said part of said street, as shown by the generally recognized maps of said city, do hereby petition that the same be improved by constructing multiple public improvements, including sanitary sewer, storm sewer, street paving and sidewalks.
And we do further petition the City Council to order such improvement and cause it to be made. Within thirty days of first publication of this notice, the owners of property abutting the proposed improvement may:
1. By petition of a majority of said taxable front footage abutting the improvement, protest against the construction of such project pursuant to Neb. Rev. Stat. § 14-3,127; and,
2. By petition file a protest in the Office of the City Clerk against the regularity, legality, or sufficiency of the petition or signatures hereon, pursuant to Omaha Municipal Code § 26-61.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will hold public hearings on May 21, 2019, at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183. The purpose of these hearings is to consider approval of:
Class “CK” Liquor License for Array Group, LLC, dba “The Cooler”, located at 2323 North 24th Street.
Class “CKG” Liquor License for Thunderhead Brewing Taproom, LLC, dba “Thunderhead Brewing Taproom”, located at 1037 Jones Street.
Class “DK” Liquor License for Beverage Catering of Nebraska, LLC, dba “Beverage Catering of Nebraska”, located at 4724 North 24th Street.
Class “D” Liquor License for M.N.G., Inc., dba “Park Avenue Grocery Store”, located at 1107 Park Avenue.
Anyone interested in these matters or desiring to give evidence in support of or in protest against the issuance of such license should be in attendance at this meeting.
