PUBLIC NOTICE
DOUGLAS COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING
You are hereby notified that public hearings will be held before the Douglas County Planning Commission on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at 15335 W. Maple Road (the former Fitzgerald Veterans Home), (Douglas Conference Room, First Floor) Omaha, 68116. A pre-meeting case review shall begin at 5:15 p.m. and the public hearings (where public input will be received) shall begin at 6:00 p.m. concerning recommendations to the County Commissioners on the following matters:
1. Special Use Permit, Curtis Corporation, Curtis G. Werner – applicant, for a commercial recreation – controlled impact use, specifically a wedding reception / retreat venue, on approximately 180 acres in the SE1/4 and the SE1/4 NW1/4, all in Section 3-Township 16 North-Range 10 East of the Sixth P.M. (parcel #’s 0111510000 and 0111560011) Address: 23150 Pawnee Road.
2. Special Use Permit, Tyler J. Nelson – applicant, for a commercial recreation – high impact use, specifically a farming educational experience, on approximately 21 acres in the W1/2 SE1/4, in Section 15-Township 16 North-Range 10 East of the Sixth P.M. (parcel # 0113190027) Address: 10505 N. 234 Street.
