PUBLIC HEARING NOTICES

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will hold public hearings on October 8, 2019, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183, for the purpose of hearing testimony for:

 

Res. that, the Preliminary Plat entitled Gold Meadows, a subdivision inside the city limits, located northwest of 50th and Bancroft Streets, along with the conditions, is hereby accepted; and, the preparation of the final plat of this subdivision is hereby authorized. The applicant is Mark Lampe

 

Res. that, the Preliminary Plat entitled Marvely, a minor plat inside the city limits, with a waiver of Section 53-8(4)(d), Lot frontage, located northeast of 132nd and Fort Streets, along with the conditions, is hereby accepted; and, the preparation of the final plat of this subdivision is hereby authorized. The applicant is Fareway Stores, Inc – Inside City Limits

 

Res. that, the Preliminary Plat entitled Hanscom Place Replat 16, a minor plat inside the city limits, located at 1719 Park Avenue, along with the conditions, is hereby accepted; and, the preparation of the final plat of this subdivision is hereby authorized. The applicant is Thompson, Dreesen & Dorner, Inc

 

Res. that, the Preliminary Plat entitled Harvey Industrial Park Replat 1, a minor plat inside the city limits, with a waiver of Section 53-8(4)(d), Lot frontage, located at 4420 South 67th Street, along with the conditions, is hereby accepted; and, the preparation of the final plat of this subdivision is hereby authorized. The applicant is S&B Properties, LLC

 

An ordinance to approve an Amendment to the Future Land Use Element of the Master Plan for the City of Omaha, to change the future land use map from Industrial to Low-density residential for property generally located northwest of 120th Street and Rainwood Road

 

Res. that, the request of John Folsom, for a waiver to the Present Development Zone specifications of the Urban Development Element of the City of Omaha Master Plan for property located, northwest of 120th Street and Rainwood Road and in conjunction with the proposed Wounded Warriors Family Support – Dunham Addition subdivision plat, as shown on Exhibit “A” is hereby approved

 

Res. that, the Preliminary Plat entitled Wounded Warriors Family Support-Dunham Addition, a subdivision outside the city limits, located northwest of 120th Street and Rainwood Road, along with the conditions, is hereby accepted; and, the preparation of the final plat of this subdivision is hereby authorized. The applicant is John Folsom

 

An ordinance to rezone property located southwest of 192nd Street and Camden Avenue from AG-Agricultural District, R1-Single Family Residential District (Large Lot), and R4-Single Family Residential District (High Density) to R4-Single Family Residential District (High Density)

 

Res. that, the Preliminary Plat entitled Indian Creek Reserve, a minor plat outside the city limits, located southwest of 192nd Street and Camden Avenue, along with the conditions, is hereby accepted; and, the preparation of the final plat of this subdivision is hereby authorized. The applicant is Indian Creek Reserve, LLC

 

Res. that, the Final Plat entitled Indian Creek Reserve, a minor plat outside the city limits, located southwest of 192nd Street and Camden Avenue, is hereby approved and accepted. The applicant is Indian Creek Reserve, LLC

 

Res. that, the Subdivision Agreement among the City of Omaha, Indian Creek Reserve, LLC, The Indian Creek Reserve Homeowners Association, and Sanitary and Improvement District (S.&I.D.) 404 of Douglas County, Nebraska, as recommended by the Mayor, is hereby approved. The Subdivision is to be known as Indian Creek Reserve (Lots 1-40 and Outlots A-C) and is located southwest of 192nd Street and Camden Avenue

“NOTICE TO PUBLIC”

The regular meeting of the Omaha Public Library (OPL) – Metropolitan Community College (MCC) Library Entity Board will be held on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at 4:00 P.M. at the South Omaha Library, located at 2808 Q Street.  Proposed agenda kept continually current is available at the South Omaha Library and at the Administrative Office at the W. Dale Clark Library.  The Board reserves the right to modify the agenda at said public meeting when convened.  Requests for sign language interpreters or other alternative formats will require a minimum of 48 hours advance notice.  Please contact the Administrative Office at (402) 444-4834 if arrangements need to be made.

OMAHA HOUSING AUTHORITY

Resident Relocation Services

Request for Proposals No. 19-09-04

Proposals are requested from qualified Resident Relocation Services providers to provide resident relocation and coordination services at Spencer Homes and Southside Terrace. The Omaha Housing Authority (OHA) will accept hand-delivered proposals until October 29, 2019.

These properties, located in Omaha, Nebraska, are currently occupied.  Spencer Homes includes 111 units and Southside Terrace includes 359 units.  OHA intends to award one contract to a single provider beginning November 11, 2019 and continue throughout the duration of the projects.  Spencer Homes redevelopment should conclude in July 2022.  A timeline for Southside Terrace has not been established.

A non-mandatory pre-proposal conference and site tour will take place on Thursday October 3, 2019 at 2:00 p.m.  The conference will be held at the OHA Central Office, 1823 Harney Street, Omaha, NE 68102.

Deadline for Proposal submission is Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at 2:00 P.M.

All activities will take place at OHA’s Central Office at 1823 Harney Street, Omaha, NE 68102.
