NOTICE
The City of Omaha, acting as Agent for the owner, invites bids for the REHABILITATION OF DWELLING UNITS at:
3409 Martin Avenue
7010 Weir Street
Closing Time: 3:00 P.M., Wednesday, September 4, 2019
Sealed bids are invited and will be received on or before the closing time, as per specifications on file in the office of Rehab Division of the Planning Department, Room 1111, Omaha/Douglas Civic Center.
Sealed bids to be addressed to Rehabilitation Division, Room 1111, Omaha/Douglas Civic Center marked "Bid on REHABILITATION OF DWELLING UNIT, with the address and job number identified", must be on file in his office on or before 3:00 P.M. on the closing date, at which time the bids will be opened and read by the Rehab Division before bidders and the public in Room 1111, Omaha/Douglas Civic Center.
Attention is called to the fact that not less than minimum salaries and wages as specified by the U.S. Secretary of Labor as set forth in the specification may be paid on the rehabilitation work. The contractor must, furthermore, insure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color or creed, sex or national origin.
The bidder must file a certificate of insurance with the Rehab Division evidencing comprehensive public liability insurance coverage protecting the property owner for not less than $1,000,000 per occurrence, $2,000,000 aggregate arising out of the work performed by the contractor. Evidence of workman's compensation insurance must be shown prior to receipt of the order to proceed with the work.
The owner reserves the right to accept, reject, or negotiate any or all bids in whole or in part.

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICES
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will hold public hearings on September 10, 2019, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183, for the purpose of hearing testimony for:
An ordinance to rezone property located northwest of 204th and Fort Streets from AG-Agricultural District to R5-Urban Family Residential District
An ordinance to rezone property located northwest of 204th and Fort Streets from AG-Agricultural District to R4-Single-Family Residential District (High Density)
An ordinance to rezone property located northwest of 204th and Fort Streets from AG-Agricultural District to DR-Development Reserve District
Res. that, the Final Plat entitled Vistancia, a subdivision outside the city limits, located northwest of 204th and Fort Streets, is hereby approved and accepted. The applicant is 20535 Fort LLC
Res. that, the Subdivision Agreement among the City of Omaha, 20535 Fort, LLC, Hildy Construction, Inc., Whisper Rock Holdings, LLC, The Vistancia Owners Association, and Sanitary and Improvement District (S.&I.D.) 598 of Douglas County, Nebraska, as recommended by the Mayor, is hereby approved. The Subdivision is to be known as Vistancia (Lots 1-300 and Outlots A-I) and is located northwest of 204th and Fort Streets
Res. that, the Preliminary Plat entitled South Hill Addition, a minor plat inside the city limits, with a waiver of Section 53-8(4)(a) Lot depth, located at 1301 South 12th Street, along with the conditions, is hereby accepted; and, the preparation of the final plat of this subdivision is hereby authorized. The applicant is Clarity Development Company
An ordinance to rezone property located at 10810 Harney Street from GO-General Office District to CC-Community Commercial District
An ordinance to amend the boundaries of the ACI-3-Area of Civic Importance Overlay District, to incorporate into that district the property located at 10810 Harney Street
