Invitation for Bids

Vacant Unit Turnaround

OHA is issuing this IFB seeking qualified contractors for performing Vacant Units Turnarounds for interior/exterior repairs, painting and cleaning vacant units.

IFB packets will be available on Friday, April 24, 2020 at 2:00 P.M.

There is a Pre-Bid Zoom meeting on Thursday, May 07, 2020 at 2:00 P.M.  Please send an email to contracts@ohauthority.org for an invitation.

Deadline for Proposal submission is Friday, May 22, 2020 at 2:00 P.M.

All activities will take place at OHA’s Central Office at 1823 Harney Street, Omaha, NE 68102.

Proposals will be marked: Attn: Murphy Knight – Vacant Unit Turnaround

CITY OF OMAHA

NOTICE TO PUBLIC

 

The City Council of the City of Omaha will have a Council Meeting at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 5, 2020, in the Legislative Chambers of the Omaha/Douglas Civic Center in Omaha, Nebraska. This meeting will have video conference capability. Proposed agenda kept continually current shall be available for public inspection in the Omaha/Douglas Civic Center at the Office of the City Clerk, but the Council shall have the right to modify the agenda to include items of an emergency nature only at such public meeting when convened. Access to the Civic Center will be limited so any public attendees will need to be escorted to the meeting by building security. The video conference details and an agenda for the meeting is posted on the City of Omaha website at www.cityofomaha.org.

CITY OF OMAHA

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICES

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will hold public hearings on May 5, 2020, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183, for the purpose of hearing testimony for:

 

An ordinance declaring the necessity of acquiring, for use by the City of Omaha, the necessary private property for the purpose of the 177th & Manderson Sanitary Sewer, project identified as OPW 53726; providing that the City negotiate with the property owners for land acquisitions, permanent easements and temporary  construction easements; providing that as to each specified parcel which cannot be obtained by negotiation, condemnation proceedings be undertaken and completed.

 

An ordinance to approve a redevelopment agreement between the City of Omaha and the Omaha Performing Arts Society for the construction of a music venue on the block between Capital Avenue and Dodge Street and 11th Street and 12th Street.

Anyone interested in these matters should be in attendance.
