Prescott, Ariz. – Despite widespread cancellation and suspension of crowd activities, life at the big box stores in this northern mountain area of Arizona goes on as usual.
At Costco and Walmart, the parking lots are jammed and the hand sanitizer is sold out and, as during any panic shopping spree, toilet paper is scarce.

Health officials have confirmed 10 new cases of coronavirus in Nebraska to give the state a total of 49 cases.
Douglas County health officials reported eight new cases Saturday. Five of the cases are related to travel, and three of the cases had contact with a previous positive case in the area.

Washington – The Supreme Court reported Friday that the nine justices are healthy and trying to stay that way.
To that end, when the court held its regularly scheduled private conference Friday morning, some of the justices participated remotely, and those who were in the building did not engage in the tradition of shaking hands, court spokeswoman Kathy Arberg said.

Lincoln – Gov. Pete Ricketts asked lawmakers Friday for $58.6 million in emergency state funding to help pay for medical and cleaning supplies, tests, employee overtime and other expenses needed to respond to the new coronavirus pandemic as the number of Nebraska cases rose to 37.

Lincoln – Nebraska lawmakers may be returning to the Capitol on Monday to approve emergency aid for state agencies that are responding to the new coronavirus pandemic.
Speaker of the Legislature Jim Scheer said he expects to decide Friday afternoon whether to temporarily resume the session.
