Lincoln – The Nebraska state employees’ union delivered more than 1,600 petitions to Gov. Pete Ricketts’ office last Wednesday demanding that he give all state workers the option to work from home if their jobs allow it.

• Stay 6 feet away from others.

• Stay at home and only grocery shop once per week alone.

Governor Thanks Trump, DOD For National Guard Support

Lincoln – Gov. Pete Ricketts issued a statement following news that President Donald J. Trump and the Department of Defense have approved Nebraska’s request for federal funding of National Guard support in the fight against COVID-19 while maintaining command and control at the state level.

More than 200 National Guard members are activated and serving in Nebraska, Ricketts said.

Traffic Volume Holds Steady
