NOTICE OF MEETING
OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION
VILLAGE OF BOYS TOWN
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that an open and public meeting of the Planning Commission of the Village of Boys Town will be held on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at 1:00 p.m., at Father Flanagan’s Boys’ Home Headquarters Building in the Auditorium, in the Village of Boys Town, NE, on the matters of the Planning commission’s consideration of and recommendation of an amendment of the Village’s Comprehensive Development Plan and zoning regulations to change the zoning from (MU) Mixed Use District to (MUE I) Mixed Use Eleemosynary District I on portions of certain lands within the boundaries of the Village of Boys Town, more particularly described as follows:
The East 465 feet of the Northeast Quarter of Section 24, Township 15 North, Range 11, East of the 6th P.M., Douglas County, Nebraska, lying south of Walsh Road, EXCEPT for the West 82 feet of the south 250 feet thereof AND ALSO EXCEPT that part taken for road right of way.
TOGETHER WITH,
That part of the Southeast Quarter of Section 24, Township 15 North, Range 11 East of the 6th P.M., Douglas County, Nebraska, described as follows:
Beginning at the southeast corner of the said Southeast Quarter of Section 24:
Thence westerly along the south line of the said Southeast Quarter of Section 24 to a point 770 feet west of the east line of the Southeast Quarter of Section 24;
Thence northerly parallel with and 770 feet west of the east line of the said Southeast Quarter of Section 24 to a point 400 feet north of the south line of the said Southeast Quarter of Section 24;
Thence easterly parallel with and 400 feet north of the said Southeast Quarter of Section 24 to a point lying 583 feet west of the east line of the said Southeast Quarter of Section 24;
Thence northeasterly to a point lying 383 feet west of the east line of the said Southeast Quarter of Section 24 and 600 feet north of the south line of the said Southeast Quarter of Section 24;
Thence northerly parallel with and 383 feet west of the east line of the said Southeast Quarter of Section 24 to the north line of the said Southeast Quarter of Section 24;
Thence easterly to the northeast corner of the said Southeast Quarter of Section 24;
Thence southerly to the Point of Beginning.

Beginning at the southwest corner of the Southwest Quarter of Section 24:
Thence northerly along the west line of the Southwest Quarter to a point that is 500 feet north of the south line thereof;
Thence easterly parallel with and 500 feet north of the south line of the Southwest Quarter of Section 24 to a point lying 400 feet east of the west line thereof;
Thence southeasterly to a point lying 400 feet north of the south line of the Southwest Quarter of Section 24 and 500 feet east of the west line thereof;
Thence easterly parallel with and 400 feet north of the south line of the Southwest Quarter of Section 24 to the east line thereof;
Thence southerly to the southeast corner of the Southwest Quarter of Section 24;
Thence westerly to the southwest corner of the Southwest Quarter of Section 24 and the Point of Beginning.

2. The meeting shall be governed by all the same rules, regulations, and guidelines as any other meeting.
The Planning Commission reserves the right to adjourn into closed session pursuant to Section 84-1410 of the Nebraska Revised Statutes.
An agenda of the subjects to be considered at the meeting, kept continually current, is and shall be available for public inspection at the office of the Village Attorney located at the Father Flanagan’s Boys’ Home Headquarters Building in the Village of Boys Town, NE.
