STATE PUBLIC NOTICES 3/19/19

The following application(s) may be inspected at the office of the Nebraska Public Service Commission during regular office hours.  Interventions must be filed with the Commission in the manner and within the time prescribed in Section 14 of the Rules of Commission Procedure, Title 291, NAC Chapter 1.
C-5042     In the Matter of the Application of Randal Rainforth, Prosser, seeking authority to receive telephone service from the Doniphan exchange of Hamilton Telephone Company.
 
The following proposed Rule and Regulation may be inspected at the offices of the Nebraska Public Service Commission during regular office hours. Comments must be filed with the Commission in the manner and within the time prescribed in Section 14 of the Rules of Commission Procedure:
RULE AND REGULATION #202: In the Matter of the Commission, on its own motion, seeking to establish Title 291, Chapter 16, to adopt Reverse Auction and Wireless Registry rules and regulations in accordance with Nebraska Legislative Bill 994 [2018]. Interested parties should submit written comments on the Proposed Rules set forth in the Order Opening Docket, Releasing Proposed Rules, Seeking Comment, and Setting Hearing, no later than 3:00 PM, Thursday, April 18, 2019.  Parties filing comments should file one (1) paper original, five (5) additional paper copies and one (1) electronic copy in Word format e-mailed to john.monroe@nebraska.gov and cullen.robbins@nebraska.gov. A public hearing to receive testimony on the proposed Rules and Regulations has been scheduled for Tuesday, May 7, 2019, at 1:30 PM in the Commission Hearing Room, 300 The Atrium, 1200 N Street, Lincoln, Nebraska. The Commission believes there will be no fiscal impact as a result of these rules.
Copies of the proposed rules are available on the Commission website at psc.nebraska.gov. Anyone wishing to receive written notices regarding this docket shall provide contact information to the Commission and ask to be added to the service list.

The Nebraska Public Service Commission will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. in the Commission Hearing Room, 300 The Atrium, 1200 N Street, Lincoln, Nebraska.  The agendas will be available for public inspection no later than 10:00 a.m. on the day before the meeting.

On March 12, 2019, Windstream Nebraska, Incorporated submitted for Commission approval, one (1) broadband deployment project in the Eastern Hebron, Nebraska area.  A list of the census blocks Windstream intends to serve is available at https://psc.nebraska.gov/telecommunications/nusf-99-applications.  Providers now have 30 days or, until April 22, 2019, to indicate they already serve the identified census blocks and should notify Windstream and the Commission that they currently offer broadband service at speeds of 10 Mbps downstream and 1 Mbps upstream or higher in the identified census blocks.  
Docket No. NUSF-99.45: In the Matter of the Nebraska Public Service Commission, on its own Motion, to administer the Universal Service Fund High-Cost Program:  Windstream Nebraska, Inc. Broadband Grant Request
On March 12, 2019, Windstream Nebraska, Incorporated submitted for Commission approval, one (1) broadband deployment project in the Central Office of Yutan, Nebraska area.  A list of the census blocks Windstream intends to serve is available at https://psc.nebraska.gov/telecommunications/nusf-99-applications.  Providers now have 30 days or, until April 22, 2019, to indicate they already serve the identified census blocks and should notify Windstream and the Commission that they currently offer broadband service at speeds of 10 Mbps downstream and 1 Mbps upstream or higher in the identified census blocks.
