State of Nebraska Public Notices 6/7/2024

The following proposed Rule and Regulation may be inspected at the offices of the Nebraska Public Service Commission during regular office hours. Comments must be filed with the Commission in the manner and within the time prescribed in Section 14 of the Rules of Commission Procedure:

RULE AND REGULATION #211:        In the Matter of the Nebraska Public Service Commission, on its own motion, seeking to amend Title 291, Chapter 3, Motor Carrier Rules and Regulations, to adopt rules modifying driver requirements for licensees transporting employees of railroad carriers.

Interested parties should submit written comments on the proposed amendments on or before Monday, July 8, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. Central Time. Parties filing comments should email a copy to brittany.roos@nebraska.gov and psc.motorfilings@nebraska.gov.

A public hearing to receive testimony on the proposed Rules and Regulations has been scheduled for Monday, July 22, 2024 at 1:30 p.m. Central Time. Remote access to the hearing will be available via WebEx at the following link: https://psc.nebraska.gov/stream. Individuals may also attend the meeting by telephone: dial 469-210-7159 and then enter 146 153 5285, when prompted for an access code.

The Commission believes there will be no fiscal impact as a result of these rules.

Copies of the proposed rules are available on the Commission website at https://psc.nebraska.gov/administration/proposed-rules-regulations. Anyone wishing to receive written notices regarding this docket shall provide contact information to the Commission and ask to be added to the service list.

RE: Application No. NG-101.1/PI-224       In the Matter of the Commission, on its own motion, opening an investigatory docket for the purpose of general monitoring of issues regarding the natural gas industry and jurisdictional utilities in Nebraska. Black Hills Energy.

Interested persons are hereby notified that a status meeting on the above-captioned application will be held on July 23, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. in the Commission Hearing Room.   Access to the meeting via webconference will be made available at https://psc.nebraska.gov/.
