State Bar Annual Meeting Starts Today in La Vista
The Nebraska State Bar Association’s Annual Meeting starts today and runs through Friday at the La Vista Conference Center.
The Bench and Bar Reception is this evening from 5:15 to 7 p.m. This special reception will honor Nebraska judges.
Today’s agenda includes a variety of NSBA section meetings:
• ADR (8 a.m., breakfast)
• Elder Law (8 a.m.)
• Labor Relations & Employment Law (9 a.m.)
• Health Law (10:30 a.m.)
• Intellectual Property (9:45 a.m.)
• Public Interest Law (11:30 a.m.)
• Real Estate, Probate & Trust Law (11:30 a.m., lunch)
• REPT Section will have its annual meeting, including discussion of legislation interests, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
• Senior Lawyers (8:30 a.m.)
• Women and the Law (4:30 p.m.)
In addition, ACTEC Fellows meet at 8 a.m. for breakfast, Client Assistance Fund meets at noon for lunch and Real Estate Practice Guidelines meets at 8 a.m. NSBA Executive Council also meets from 1:15 p.m. o 3:15 p.m.
Alumni luncheons will be held today from noon to 1 p.m. for Creighton University School of Law, University of Nebraska College of Law and out-of-state law schools (limited seating available).

Walk-in registrations will be accepted. Online registration has closed.
If COVID-19 infection rates in Sarpy County are categorized as substantial or high by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention at the time of the event, the La Vista Embassy Suites will require all guests, including Annual Meeting attendees, to wear face masks in public areas, including all event and lobby spaces. While eating and drinking, attendees may remove their masks.
