Representing the best work in marketing last year, the Pinnacle Awards were presented April 24 at an awards dinner at the Omar Baking Co. Building in Omaha.

The awards, presented by the American Marketing Association’s Omaha chapter, recognize outstanding work by agencies and organizations from the prior year.

“One unique feature of the Pinnacle Awards is that they are results-based,” Belinda Boelter, co-vice president of the awards, said in a statement. “While campaign aesthetic is important, judges pay close attention to what the campaign achieved and how they were measured.”

Winners are recognized in seven categories: Public Relations, Communications, Digital Media, Promotions, Total Marketing Campaign, Video and Student. The Best of Show Award was presented to the Omaha Storm Chasers baseball team.

The Marketer of the Year Award was presented to Jim Berscheidt, chief communications and marketing officer at Creighton University.

Two new awards were also established this year. The In-House of the Year Award went to Mid-States Utility Trailer Sales, and the Agency of the Year Award went to OBI Creative.
