Outlook Enrichment To Receive Donations From Fareway’s Round Up Program
Fareway patrons at all six Omaha metro locations will be offered the opportunity this week to “round up” to the nearest dollar and make additional contributions at the register to support the programs and services of Outlook Enrichment, a local nonprofit dedicated to providing resources for individuals with vision loss.
The round up campaign begins Monday, Sept. 12 and ends Saturday, Sept. 17.
The donations raised will help further Outlook Enrichment’s mission to ensure blind and visually impaired individuals enjoy fulfilled lives. Among the initiatives led by Outlook Enrichment are specialized recreational activities and art programs to create new experiences for participants; support groups and outreach programs to assist individuals in need; adaptive technology and training sessions to increase independence; and partnerships with community organizations to improve accessibility and inclusion efforts.
All six Fareway locations in the Omaha metro area will be participating:
13150 Fort Street
1325 Jersey Street (Papillion)
17070 Audrey Street
310 McKenzie Avenue (Council Bluffs)
8900 W. Center Road
604 S. Highway 6 (Gretna)
