ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS PRICE

1. Sealed bids addressed to the Board of Education of the Omaha Public Schools, Douglas County, Nebraska, for Asbestos Removal at Suckau Chapel – 840 Pine Street, for the Omaha Public School District, hereinafter called “District” in accordance with plans, specifications and Contract Documents adopted by the District, prepared by Omaha Public Schools will be received in the office of Department of District Operational Services, Omaha Public Schools, 3215 Cuming Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68131-2024, Wednesday, October 9, 2019, until 2:00 P.M., CST.

At that time, the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud, and tabulation will be made to present to the Board of Education at the next regular meeting for consideration in awarding the Contract. Any bid received after the closing time will be returned unopened.

2. There will be a Mandatory Walkthrough on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at the site, 840 Pine Street, Omaha, NE, for the purpose of answering questions and walking the project site. Contractors wishing to submit a bid are required to be pre-qualified and be present at this mandatory walkthrough.

3. The Contractor shall identify their bid on the outside of the envelope by writing the name of the project on which they are bidding. The name of the project is Asbestos Removal at Suckau Chapel – 840 Pine Street, #P002-20.

4. Plans and specifications may be examined and obtained after October 1, 2019, at the office Shelley Bengtson, Environmental/Safety Specialist/Manager, 4041 North 72nd Street, Omaha, NE 68134, (PH. 531 299-0180) and are also on file at:
