ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

1. Sealed bids addressed to the Board of Education of the Omaha Public Schools, Douglas County, Nebraska, for the Site Security Improvements at OPS Service Center, Bid Number 21-046, for the Omaha Public Schools, hereinafter called the “District” in accordance with plans, specifications and Contract Documents adopted by the District, prepared by Lamp Rynearson will be received in the office of District Operational Services, Omaha Public Schools, 4041 N. 72nd Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68134-4470 until 2:00 PM, CST, Thursday, May 27, 2021. At that time, the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud and tabulation will be made to present to the Board of Education at the next regular meeting for consideration in awarding the Contract. Any bid received after the closing time will be returned unopened. The time clock maintained by OPS District Operational Services shall be the official clock utilized to determine the time for close of bidding. There will be a Pre-Bid Conference / Project Walk Through on Monday, May 17, 2021 at 10:00 AM at OPS Service Center, 4041 N. 72nd Street, Omaha, NE 68134-4470.

Sealed proposals addressed to the Board of Education of the Omaha Public Schools, Douglas County, Nebraska, for CATLIN ELEMENTARY FLOORING REPLACEMENT, Bid Number 21-042, for the Omaha Public Schools, hereinafter called “District” in accordance with plans, specifications and Contract Documents adopted by the District, prepared by OPS Service Center are to be received electronically through the Service Center electronic lockbox by 2:00 PM, Tuesday, June 8, 2021. At that time, the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud and tabulation will be made to present to the Board of Education at the next regular meeting for consideration in awarding the Contract. Any bid received after the closing time will be returned unopened. The email time stamp maintained by the OPS Service Center shall be the official clock utilized to determine the time for close of bidding. A mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held 7:30 AM, Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at Catlin Elementary School, 12736 Marinda Street, Omaha, NE. Those not attending the Conference will not be allowed to bid.
