OMAHA PUBLIC SCHOOLS

NOTICE OF PRIMARY ELECTION

I, Jane Erdenberger, as President of the Board of Education of Douglas County School District 0001 (OPS), and as required by Neb. Rev. Stat. § 79-574 (Reissue 2014), hereby provide notice that on Tuesday, the 12th day of May, 2026 in Douglas County, Nebraska, a primary election will be held for candidates for the Board of Education – Omaha Public Schools. The Election Commissioner has notified OPS that the election will be conducted at the voters’ usual polling places unless the voter is otherwise notified. The polls will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. All races will not appear on every election ballot, as the candidates are nominated by specific Subdistricts. The following is a list of candidates provided to OPS by the Douglas County Election Commissioner that will appear on the general election ballots for Board of Education – Omaha Public Schools.
