OBA Wine Tasting Planning Return to Real World
After the COVID-19 pandemic forced last year’s Wine Tasting online, the Omaha Bar Association is bringing its popular event back to the real world.
“Last year, the OBA enjoyed showing our members that COVID couldn’t slow us down, but we look forward to having even more fun in person this year,” OBA Executive Director Dave Sommers said.
The 22nd annual OBA Wine Tasting is scheduled to take place face-to-face on Friday, Jan. 28, at The Barn at the Ackerhurst Dairy Farm in Bennington, the site of the 2020 Wine Tasting.
Tickets cost $5 per person and OBA members are each allowed to bring up to one guest.
In addition to wine, beer and hors d’oeuvres, the evening will also feature a raffle of two bottles of Fairchild Sigaro Cabernet, signed by Nebraska native and vintner Thomas Fairchild.
“The Annual OBA Wine Tasting is our chance to thank our members for renewing their memberships, and we can’t wait to thank them in person at the end of the month,” Sommers said.
