The Nebraska State Bar Association paid tribute to Nebraska attorneys who died over the past year as part of its 2020 Annual Meeting this week.

Outgoing NSBA President Steven Mattoon of Sydney-based Matzke, Mattoon, Martens & Strommen LLC stressed the importance of ceremony in a video for bar association membership.

“At the NSBA Annual Meeting, we celebrate what it means to be a Nebraska lawyer. It is also important for us to take a moment and remember those who are no longer with us and recognize the part each of them played in creating the legacy of our profession.”
